Admissions are for diploma courses (Mining, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Metallurgical, Drilling Engineering, etc.) at OSME via the Diploma Entrance Test (DET) conducted by SCTE&VT Odisha. Applications started around 15 April 2025, and the last date was around 30 May 2025. The DET exam was planned for June 2025, followed by merit-list release by the end of June, and counselling / seat allotment tentatively 7-15 July 2025.
The fee for the Diploma in Mining for lateral entry is mentioned below:
Admission to the Orissa School of Mining Engineering (OSME), Keonjhar, is conducted through the Diploma Entrance Test (DET) administered by the State Council for Technical Education & Vocational Training (SCTE&VT), Odisha. Visit the official SCTE&VT website during the application period to fill out and submit the online application form for the DET
