Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is too old and need some serious upgrade with respect to industry trend. Lecturers are also not from reputed colleges and didn't have strong basic knowledge of the subject also. Mainly faculties are hired as temporary basis and frequently changes.

Placement Experience

Campus placement is offered and lots of companies took their campus drive but the thing is those companies are engaged to institute by the help of some third party recruitment company. Companies those come to provide placement opportunities are non-core and mainly offers sales executive jobs. The only brach with core opportunities is mining engineering whose average package is around 8-9 LPA with some of famous companies visiting to recruit them

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Tution fee is very affordable w.r.to courses they offered. Needy peoples are eligible to apply for scholarship provided by govt of odisha which covers 70-80% of yearly tuition fees. Campus placement opportunities are there for 4th year students but cover jobs are close to zero and average package is around 2-3 LPA

Campus Life

As it is a developing college of govt of odisha lots of investment is going on and hence the infrastructure is still under construction. We didn't have some basic facilities of playground and gym. For the sake of campus life the institute and its departments organises some fests but not upto mark and need some focus

Admission

Admission through jee mains rank. And cut off cse is around 1.5 lakh for general. The admission process is through ojee counselling and seat alloted in rounds. You have to submit some security fees to freeze your seat.
