Biju Patnaik University of Technology has released a list of shortlisted candidates on November 17, 2024, for Phase 2 admission for the 2024-25 session. Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria for admission.

Faculty of Architecture

Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in Architecture or a related specialization from a recognized institution. The minimum required CGPA is 6.5/10 or 60% aggregate marks.

Faculty of Management

Applicants must hold an MBA/PGDM degree from a recognized university or an AICTE-approved institution with a minimum CGPA of 6.5/10 or 60% aggregate marks.

Faculty of Computer Application & Sciences

Applicants should have a Master’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Computer Application, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, Economics, or related fields. The degree must be from a recognized university, with a minimum CGPA of 6.5/10 or 60% aggregate marks.

Faculty of Engineering

Applicants must possess a Master’s Degree in Engineering/Technology or its equivalent (M.Sc. in Engineering by Research), from a recognized university. They need to secure at least a CGPA of 6.5/10 or 60% aggregate marks at the Master's level.

Inter-Disciplinary Subject Areas

Candidates applying for interdisciplinary research should:

  • Candidates must have a Master’s degree in a related branch, subject, or discipline, recognized by the university, with a minimum CGPA of 6.5/10 or 60% aggregate marks.
  • Candidates must obtain a recommendation from the DRDC/IDRDC.
  • Receive approval from their faculty for interdisciplinary research after presenting the research proposal.
  • Submit a research proposal aligned with the interdisciplinary nature of the work.

  • Caste certificate if applicable
  • Proof and scorecard of eligibility test
  • Two passport-size photographs
  • Aadhar card
  • Demand draft

Relaxation for Reserved Category

Candidates from the SC/ST or differently-abled categories will be granted a 5% relaxation in the required CGPA or aggregate marks for eligibility at the PG level.
