WHAT IS MIRAI MAINS?

MIRAI MAINS (MIRAI National Screening Test) is an AI-proctored, online entrance exam which allows admission into the AI-first engineering undergraduate program located at the Mirai School of Technology. The MIRAI differs from other engineering entrance exams because it extends beyond academics. It assesses the candidate's problem-solving ability, reasoning ability, mathematical ability and the ability to learn and adapt to new AI concepts.
The MIRAI Mains is a multi-sectional assessment with 3 sections:

The MIRAI Mains exams is mandatory for admission in Mirai’s BTech program. The Mirai School of Technology’s student base consist of the top 20% students.

MIRAI Mains Exam Pattern- General Overview

The MIRAI Mains Exam Pattern is divided into 3 major sections- Mathematics, Reasoning & Problem Solving, and AI Learnability. The exam consists of 60 multiple-choice questions and carrying a total mark of 200. The marking scheme awards +3 or +4 for every correct answer and deducts 1 mark for every incorrect one.

AI learnability is one of the most crucial sections of the MIRAI Mains exams. This section evaluates an individual’s quick learning abilities and their understanding of how unfamiliar AI-centric concepts will apply in various scenarios.

In this section, candidates are introduced to specific concepts and are followed by questions which assess the comprehension and application of students.

MIRAI-Mains Marking Scheme

The total number of marks given for this exam is 200 marks. There are only 60 questions. For every correct answer +3 or +4 marks and for every wrong answer -1 mark. Negative marking is a very comprehensive and arduous process for assessing students in the examination.
