Dronacharya College of Engineering (DCE), Gurgaon was established in 1998 by Smt Anguri Devi Charitable Trust. Dronacharya College of Engineering is approved by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated with Gurugram University (GU). The institute is recognized under 12(f) and 2(b) by University Grant Commission (UGC) Act 1956 and ISO Certified for 21001-2018 and 10001-2004. It has also received accreditation from NBA and NAAC. The college received a Certificate of Appreciation Categorized as a Band Excellent under the category "Colleges/Institutes (Private / Self-Financed) (Technical)" in Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) 2021 by MHRD. DCE also received “Outstanding Institution Award” from NITTTR Chandigarh for 2012-13 & 2022-23 session.

DCE has signed MoU with Kyushu Institute of Technology (Japan) for “Joint Collaborative Research Programme" and also signed MOU’s with CDC, DST Govt. of India for conduct of certificate Programme in technical consulting. The institute has different centers like Consultancy Development Centre (CDC) DST (Govt. of India), Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC), T10KT Remote Centre of IIT Bombay, IIT Kharagpur for the STTPs, e-Yantra Robotics Lab of IIT Bombay and Control System Lab of Virtual Lab.

- Library: The college is an institutional member of the British Council Division Library, New Delhi, the American Information Resource Centre, New Delhi, and the National Library and Information Services Infrastructure for Scholarly Content (N-LIST). The students can avail of the Library and Information Services of these centers for their specialized information needs, wherein they can get a very large volume of books & periodicals along with audio-video, digital, and online information resources. The college library has taken the membership of DELNET Consortium for the subscription of online electronic resources. Under the membership, the library has subscribed to InfoTrac Engineering Collection and also subscribed to Global Periodicals. The library is also an institutional member of the Developing Library Network (DELNET). - Discipline is good in this college, they maintain it.

I preferred this college as i got less marks, but i wanted quality over luxury. This college is quality good, good faculty good labs, providing ample time to refresh, good crowd and a great point of the owner of college.

- Things I liked about this college is that it focuses more on study rather than other things and offers various skills and opportunities we can grab
- We don't need to purchase the books from outside we can just go to library and issue that book for 1 whole month and after that we can reissue that book and that's tha good thing we save money on books , professors are very professional
Dislikes
- The campus is too small for roaming around and just take a walk for 5 min and you will notice you were there from where u just started and they don't conduct various program rather than study so we can develope other skills they have various sports
- But only have 1 sport period a weak ,this college feels like a jail as they locked us in building and conduct classes like school and that doesn't feel good at all feels like still in school without uniform,only offers ac to first year to show how

I apply for 2 3 colleges in gurgaon as this college has more placement rate and more study oriented my parents wants me to study in this college .as compared to other college this college feels like the school as they don't give us permission to roam around college we need to attend every lecture as school there is no college vibes ,no social college life not much events like other college,no big fests just normal fests without the chief guest we wanted just normal motivation rookies and no one enjoy the fest .focuses more on study and organise many Hackathone which help in gaining the experience

There is no eligibility who Have 50% in their 12th can apply for this College there is no reservation in this college I don't have any suggestion to improve in the admission process. That admission process is very simple. That's it.

- The college infrastructure can be good in somewhere like canteen,sports grounds , parking and hostels.
- The college should also give more opportunities to the talent and bring some events for talented students.
Admission:
The eligibility criteria for admission is different for different branches . I have opted for Computer science Engineering so the eligibility criteria for that was descent JEE mains score and 12 exam result. One who want to take admission can easily go through college website and register themselves or directly visit college. The University exams are conducted at the end of each semester,other then that sessional exams are conducted after 2 months.

The eligibility of the course is that one should passed out the 12 with pcm subjects and have the jee percentile above 55%. Yes, the reservation benefits are given in our college to ST/SCs of only 20 Percent.

- You don't have the college life you are just going to school. The college feels like a school to you

Admission is online as well as offline process of application process where you can visit the college and fill the application or just fill it online but for the final process of the application you have to come to college. Their is no application fees for submission of application during my time but now, their is charges of application which you can see on their website it is returned to you once you take admission in the college. Their is the direct admission in this college where after the qualification of 12th you can take admission in this college.

Course is of 4 years. Application form, fees and details can be found on college website or by visiting college itself. Exams happen for 3 times in a semester(sessional, pre-university and University)

- I liked the labs as the equipment was well maintained and they also have a ios development lab
- I also liked the classrooms as they are not too packed which can make it uneasy for me
Dislikes
- The doors get closed after 9'o'clock and only open in lunch or at dispersal
- Not all floors are air conditioned and only fans are available on upper floors

The Application process was so simple as I just visited the college for information about admission and the staff was very helpful in providing me any information I needed. The Eligibility of the course is 4 years and you can find the application form and other details on both the website or by visiting personally. You can come after giving Jee Main also.

10+2 with jee mains Application are easily found on official website of College. No reservations benefits. Direct admission also available. Some sort of fees reduction is possible if scored better in jee mains.

- Labs. The labs are up to date and you can get permission to work in the labs easily.
Dislikes
- Attendance. 75% attendance is compulsory which makes it difficult to take off.
- Transport. It is hard to reach college without the college bus and no transport directly takes you there.
Admission:
You should score atleast 70% in physics, chemistry and maths in your 12th board exam. You can get the application date from their website and then you have to go the college to get the application form and you can submit the fees thereafter. There are 2 exams per semester within one and a half months interval and the difficulty is moderate.

No, You can not apply for admission to B.Tech. CSE after completing 10+2 with Biology subject.
DCE Gurgaon accepts the valid scores of JEE Mains or HSTES examination for providing admission to B.Tech. CSE. The admission to the course is also merit-based.
