DPG Polytechnic College Admissions

The candidates are selected based on the merit in the Haryana DET exam for diploma in engineering stream and 10th standard marks for vocational courses.

There are 25% of seats reserved for the management quota students. Along with that the institute also provisions for lateral entry are also available for the candidates.

DPG Polytechnic College Placements

A placement cell is present in the institute for the training and placement activities. Each student is given a fair opportunity to get selected in a suitable firm. Industrial visits are planned by the institute to help the students understand the procedure and functioning.

Several recruiters visit each year, the most recent one being Titan, NNIT, Toyota, Suzuki, Vipro, Ford, etc.

For the meritorious students holding ranks in HSBTE, scholarships are given

Students are also given scholarships on the basis of marks scored in each semester.

Along with the cash reward, a medal and certificate are provided to the meritorious students.

The institute encourages the students to be academically sound and thus rewards them at every stage of their success. The topper of the institute is given an exemption of 11,000 INR in the next tuition fee.

Eligibility Criteria for Scholarships:

The students can apply for only one scholarship each year and the higher one has to be considered in case the student is eligible for two. Along with that, the attendance criteria should be fulfilled by the student.
Students in any activity where the discipline is compromised shall not be able to apply for scholarships.
The scholarship is applicable only for one semester.
The policies related to the scholarships can be changed at any time without any prior notice.
If the students opt to withdraw the admission from the college, he/she has to return the scholarship amount to the institute.

	Annual income – 2,50,000 INR
	The student should have an authorized SC certificate and should belong to Haryana state.
	The student can avail of one scholarship at one time.
Other backward classes	Indian nationals only
	Annual income – 1,00,000 INR
	Students should have an authorized backward caste certificate and should belong to the Haryana state.
	The student can avail of one scholarship at one time.
	The student should not belong to the creamy layer.
Students with disability	Students with more than 40% disability can only avail of the scholarship. The disability may be related to locomotion, vision, hearing, speech, mental retardation.
	Annual income – less than 2,50,000 INR
	The disability certificate should be issued by the medical authority of the state government or the UT's
	The student must show disciplined behavior and should be a regular student of the course.
	The scholarship covers maintenance allowance, nonrefundable fees, book allowance, and hostel fees. With that, the student also gets an additional allowance related to the disability.

How to apply for Scholarship?

The student should apply online on the portal. www.scholaships.gov.in.

The list of the documents to be submitted is mentioned online and the student should carefully attach all the required documents.

The form should be downloaded, filled, and submitted online.

Documents Required:

Self-attested certificate of the previous year mark sheet as mentioned in the form. For both the fresh as well as the old student this document is mandatory.
Fee receipt of the ongoing course year
In the case of the hostel, the fee receipt of hostel charges
Proof of the bank account and Aadhar card should be linked with the bank
Aadhar card
Residential proof
Authorized respective certificate

DPG Polytechnic College Facilities

Infrastructure- the campus is spacious with a 2.3-acre land area. A separate building is there for diploma courses. The campus has a high-speed internet facility and has well-organized labs. There are various labs e.g. computer lab, project lab, networking lab, analog lab, microprocessing lab, digital electronics lab, etc and all these laboratories are fully functional.
Hostels- Separate in-campus hostels are present for both boys and girls.
Sports- DPG Polytechnic College also provides its student's sports complexes for a healthy mind. Basketball courts, cricket ground, Football ground, Baseball, and volleyball fields are present on the campus.
Faculty - DPG Polytechnic College has well trained, experienced, and young faculty members. There are around 66 faculty members across various domains of the institute. Along with that 18 personnel are designated as technical staff. Admission:

The eligibility for the course is a 10th pass with a minimum of 50 percent. You find applications from online platforms or offline. There are ample kinds of reservation benefits if you apply for them. I didn't see any need for improvement.
