Parul University in Vadodara is happy to welcome over 300 students from Bhutan to start their leading healthcare and allied programs, marking an important development in education and learning across borders. This new batch of students strengthen the positive and strong reputation of Parul University that has already been established in Bhutan.

In Bhutan, healthcare has been embedded in the national consciousness, and huge investment is being made to develop a strong bench of skilled medical practitioners. With over 400 successful Bhutanese students already on campus, the addition of approximately 300 new students only serves to strengthen this academic connectedness internationally.


 

Scholarships offered to meritorious and international students by Parul University attract foreign students. The university also has special scholarships for female students and due to this we are seeing a significantly higher enrollment of females. Out of the newly enrolled 300 students 181 are female and 117 are male, thus Parul University is committing to continuing educational opportunities for females to gain empowerment.

Rounding up the new students was Mr. Prakash Pradhan, a distinguished representative of the Medical Education Commission of the Government of Bhutan. His visit was a step towards the progress of the deepening partnership between Parul University and Bhutan, and a commitment towards advancement in quality healthcare education. During his time on campus, Mr. Pradhan engaged with University officials and took a comprehensive tour of the academic and healthcare facilities, gaining insights into the collaborative efforts and campus advantages that Parul University offers to international students.

Mr. Prakash Pradhan, an esteemed representative of the Medical Education Commission, Government of Bhutan, accompanied the new enrolled students. His visit was a initiative to deepen the relationship between Parul University and Bhutan as both partnered on fostering quality education in healthcare. Mr. Pradhan met University officials and saw through a complete tour of the academic and healthcare facility, which offered a glance into the efforts made by companies, as well as the benefits and opportunities related to the campus, which Parul University can provide to international students.

By using this partnership between Parul University and Bhutan as a growing academic example, we can see how cross-border educational partnerships are proving impactful.
