I actually have a lot of interest in the construction work that is building designing, so I opted for Btech in civil engineering to make my career in this field. This course also provides lot of government jobs by clearing government exams. course curriculum and teaching methods is overall good but some subjects are little bit boring in first year. This course contains 8 semester each semester consists of two exams that is mid semester and end semester, in which the difficulty of the exam is medium.

7th semester students are eligible for campus placement, the companies that comes for campus placement are tata, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package was provided with a salary of 1800000, average package is of 800000. About 60% of students get placed. My plans after getting degree is to clear gate exam and get job in Psu.

The education fees in the first year is of ?35000, which includes tution fees, service fees,and other compulsory charges. But the education fees generally decreases after the first year, as it is a state government college it provides various scholarships like post matric scholarship, it also provides low cost education facilities to the students of economically weaker sections.

Vssut consists of a campus area of 350 acares. It has a well designed campus area with a lot more undergoing construction. This college has annual fest named vassant x samavesh in the month of March, it also does verious branch fest. It has a well designed library with a various books. This college has many technical as well as non technical clubs, which helps the students a lot in their improvement.It has a annual sports meet named illumina.

Registration process of hostel will be available in the vssut web site just after the completion of the admission process. The annual fees of hostel is 48000 which includes bedding, fooding and internet fees. It provides a room with sharing of three persons, the quality of food and menu is medium. Overall it provides a decent hostel facility.

The admission process was done by ojee councilling, on the basis of jee mains percentile. I opted for Btech in civil engineering with a percentile of 81, this course is a undergraduate program of 4 years. After your successful counseling and the seat allotment in the college, you will be visiting the official vssut website to find application form, application fees and application dates. In this college you can get various types of reservation benefits like sc/st, PWD, green card holder.
