Course Description
Student those who are selected through JEE/OJEE/Univ. entrance examination for taking admission into various courses of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla are required to register online through the link available in the official website of VSSUT
- Visit the website of the Institute, http://www.vssut.ac.in/
- Register yourself through phone number and email id.
- After successfully online registration, students will be facilitated to download/print his/her online application.
- An auto generated application code will be generated for further references.
- The interested candidates may download the application form available in the University Website and submit a hard copy of the signed completed application alongwith non-refundable demand draft of Rs.500/- (Rs.200/- in case of SC/ST candidates) in favour of,
VSSUT, Burla payable at SBI, Burla (Code - 2034) or Syndicate Bank (Code - 8062) and send the same by Speed Post only so as to reach the Dean, PGS & R, VSSUT, Burla before the last date of submission
- The envelope containing the application should be superscribed as “Application for Programme” along with the name of the Department (Specialization) as applicable.
Course Details
Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) offers a Bachelor’s degree in Technology under 11 different specialization subjects with a duration of 4 years. The university also offers 5 years Integrated B.Tech+M.Tech course under two different specializations.
Admission to B.Tech. courses of the University are based on the merit in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), Govt. of Odisha. The application process for Odisha JEE starts in the month of March every year. Candidates can apply online application for Odisha JEE.

- 1st it is about the clubs in our college which is superb as I am learning many new things.
- 2nd is about college fest which is everyones favourite.Many fest were conducted but the biggest is samavash and vassaunt
Dislikes
- Sometimes hostel food is annoying for me which is heptic for me .
- Sometimes bulbs in bathroom are being stealed .
Fees and Financial Aid:
College fees is 32,00/- per year + 10,000/- you have to give in OJEE Councelling for seat book . Hostel fees is 48,000/- per year. Our college provide different scholarship like e-madabruti,technical etc... and my friends also have applied for scholarship now getting 50,000/- per year or 22,000/- per year it depends on the type of scholarship you have applied. You can do research for different types on scholarship in state scholarship portal after joining the college so don't worry about the scholarship. There are some responsibilities in the college like if you have joined any club or fest you have to complete your task after that enjoy all the activities.

- I liked the campus because it is quiet and peaceful
- I liked the clubs especially the variety of clubs that you can get
Dislikes
- I didn't like the hostel and it's mess because the food quality is not good
- I didn't like the mess quality as it's poor
Fees and Financial Aid:
The course fees will cost you Max to Max 41,400 rupees per year if you lie in general category. Else you may as well just avail your reservation benefits that I had mentioned before . If you want to live in hostel then it will cost you around 48000 rupees per year After joining this college, you will get a lot of chance to get a lot of scholarships .

- The proper cleanliness of the campus and the well maintenance of it.
Dislikes
- The inappropriate use of funds and not provision of quality food.
- The nốt proper repairing of toilets and bathrooms in the hostel.

Tuition fee get reduced form the 2nd year onwards and the scholarship that the students can apply for are the post matric Kalia Yojana nuaOdisha etc but the students can obtain scholarship only from one scheme so choose the from which you can obtain the highest scholarship

- The infrastructure is well and good and lab is also good.
Dislikes
- In the hostel the food quality is very bad.
- Not seperate building for department.some departmental building is present.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The tuition fees is in this year There is a small increase rs.41,440 .but in the previous year the fees is low . Fees is not more but it will okok.The complete course of general course is around 80k.including hostel fees that is good for a govt Engineering college . The fees is reduced in the next of 2nd year. Scholarship give like state scholarship (post metric scholarship) ,and Kalia scholarship. Scholarship amount upto 50k.

- Faculty over here are quite experienced and good at teaching
- New building and facilities are constructed for class rooms and labs
Dislikes
- Some labs are in not good condition and some of equipment doesn't work properly
- The distance between hostel and college is around 1km so you get tired

The tution fee's of the first year is 41 thousand and hostel fees is 48 thousand. University provide scholarship to economically weaker sections and there are many scholarship of odisha government as well.

- The attitude and behaviour of the teachers

- In the campus there are certain places which needs cleaning.
- The behaviour of some of the seniors is not quite pleasant.

The fee structure for the first year academics is 41020. The hostel including the mess fee was 48000.there. Are two to three scholarship provided per year . The companies like tata steel,TCS,jk papers,etc .give internships .

- Environment of these area is very adaptable.

- The environment is good but outside the campus little bit messy .
- Some assistant of lab are quite angry sometime

The fee structure is as like other Government engineering colleges Academic fees was 41020 for 1st year and hostel fee was 48000.There are 2 to 3 scholarships in a year.The jobs are coming campus is fair .

- There is no closed campus,that is the biggest con ..
- The 75 % attendance criteria, this is so boaring.

In the era of technical education our college fee structure is very low.which is a biggest pros . Total cost of 4-5 lakh . There are many scholarships options for students.govement as well as private. Campus placement offers are good. In 2k23 total no of 808 students placed out of 1100 students.

- Assignments and labs... Too much time consuming
- Busy schedule... Soo many classes ......
Fees and Financial Aid:
So.. the hostel fees is Rs.45000 maybe .. but I didn't opt for hostel as I'm a local here... Soo I paid Rs.41000 for my 1st year tuition fee ... The college provides scholarship to students who score 8cgpa or above ... And the alumni also helps in finance of economically weak students

- The department doesn't have a different building.
- Most of lab equipments are too old to be used
Fees and Financial Aid:
The tution fee is Rs. 41040 and there are regular hikes in tution fees in one to two years so as to handle the inflation. 4 practicals and 10 notebooks are required each semester for assignment, costing around Rs. 2000. The scholarship available are generally by The Government of odisha such as E medhabruti, post matric scholarship to name a few. I have not been employed in campus in anyway till now.
