In VSSUT there are almost 15-16 branches.My branch is chemical as it fascinates me more to know about it ,there is also a great scope in VSSUT for all branches if you really work hard. Every branch is perfect but for VSSUT mechanical branch is the most powerful one as it provides variety of option in different fields,also this branch gives more placement rates than other branches but don't think that all other branches are not good , all branches provide 7lpa as average so good to study with minimum fees. As I am first year btech student for me college fees is 42,000/- per year and if you avail hostel you have to give 48,000/- per year. Faculty members are all great...they are cooperative and clears all your doubts, if you are in circuital branch then their faculty members are very neat with their work so you have to up to date and all other branch faculty are great ????.

Campus placement are better than other colleges in odisha. You will receive of average 5lpa if you work hard with no excuses.Many seniors will help for placement. Note that for placement you have to get minimum 8.0 CGPA with no backs in any subject then you will be eligible for placement from third semester. Since my branch is chemical so our highest placement is 15lpa previous year so it is great package in starting phase . Many companies visit in our college like JSW,Pradhan,TATA Steel...and many more companies visit. Keep studing,work hard , enjoy your life .

College fees is 32,00/- per year + 10,000/- you have to give in OJEE Councelling for seat book . Hostel fees is 48,000/- per year. Our college provide different scholarship like e-madabruti,technical etc... and my friends also have applied for scholarship now getting 50,000/- per year or 22,000/- per year it depends on the type of scholarship you have applied. You can do research for different types on scholarship in state scholarship portal after joining the college so don't worry about the scholarship. There are some responsibilities in the college like if you have joined any club or fest you have to complete your task after that enjoy all the activities.

There are many clubs in our college like E-Cell, Enigma,Veer Racers..they all are known clubs in all IIT and NIT.Clubs are all great and superb,you will experience more about the things that are not in books. Veer Racers who have secured AIR 1 in F1 racing and also others club have also secured a respected position which you will explore it.. Infrastructure is well and good. For hostellers you have to not worry as everyone will get room.New buildings were made which will be complete in next 1-2 years. There is also a big playground, gym, swimming pool,cafeteria, centralised AC library, Auditorium,E learning centre with AC, it is a type of hall where seminar are conducted. As I am a first year student so till now I am experiencing new things like attending fest, seminar, enjoying the campus life and clubs

Hostel Life is awesome every one should experience it. On first day of getting admission into college you will provided form for hostel and you have to fill up the details and give it to the hosteller incharge. In first year you will get one room where three students will stay of different branches or sometimes same branch.Every one will get bed along with comfortable space in one room. Toilets are kept cleaned always and electricity is also not a great issue. For food you will get different on different days and on Sunday you will get non veg biryani every week. There is also a fest in hostel every month which you will enjoy more.If someday you don't like the hostel food you can order food from outside as there are many food stall near hostel so is is not a great issue.

Hello juniors, it is a great experience for me to share my selection process for VSSUT,BURLA. First of all you have to clear JEE Main Entrance exam with minimum 70 percentile,if you are dreaming for circuital or Code branch then 90 percentile must,then you have to appear for OJEE Councelling. On appearing OJEE COUNCELLING you have to give the colleges names then wait for the selection round,as my first choice is VSSUT so I got the college at 85 percentile then I got the call from the college for admission and it tooks exactly one day to reach sambalpur as I from Puri and spend 1-2hrs to complete the registration process in a smooth manner. All the necessary documents are being provided before the registration process as soon as you got any government college.
