- The college infrastructure is superb, the hostel facility are also good, sports facility are provided to every students.
- There are food courts at every 100m in the campus and it makes life easier.
- Campus is very green, you can see a lot of flowers and plants in the campus.
Dislikes
- Hostel in time are not so flexible, you have to take permission from the local guardian to go out in night
- Food quality in a few hostel is poor, even after complaining they don't improve
- A massive number of students take admission every year which makes the campus at class timings crowded
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is comprehensive and follows a fixed structure and they modify it according to the need and keeping in mind the current market scenarios, also the professor follows a fixed pattern to complete the syllabus in the given time also they takes the doubt of the students seriously and try to solve them in the best way possible.

- offers many co curricular activities to develop skills other than academics
- the campus is lush green and offers various activities throughout the year such as live singing and dancing and playing activities
Dislikes
- Restrictions of in time of hostels. some hostels are really strict about there in times which i feel is unnecessary
- Favours more to local students as compared to people outside of odisha
- academics is not up to date. like i feel they focus more on theoretical aspect as compared to hands on experience
Placement Experience:
students from 6th semester are eligible for campus placements here.
recently , JP morgan and Chase , Accenture , Hyperbot camd for placements and offeres upto 20LPA were made.
highest went fro 60lakh last year adn average package is 8LPA
90% students get placed here
my plan after getting this degree is to use this degree to study further. MBA or masters is what i'm considering

- college has a very beautiful and well built infrastructure with greenery everywhere . well equipped labs are provided for students to gain practical experience
- discipline is well maintained in the college premises and hostels .
- very wide variety of societies are created for students to build their overall personalities
Dislikes
- some girls hostel has a very strict IN time while others are not that strict . and wardens behavior is unpleasant.
- course is very diverse an lacks potential to give students professional knowledge in specific field of their choice
- Too many restrictions for Girl students in comparison of Boy
Placement Experience:
the placements are preety good in this college . however currenty the job market is down so it has impacted the college placements.
from 6th semester onwards students become eligible for placements however the companies visit from 7th sem onwards .
many renowned companies visit along with multiple startups offering from a range 4 lpa to 24 lpa all based on the potential of the students.
the college offers a 100% placement but looking at current senario it seems difficult.
mostly companies hire for sowftware engineers and product manager roles but , also provide marketing and sales job roles.
25 lakhs per annum is the highest package in the recent time
average package is abput 5-10 lakhs per annum.
though college promises 100% placements, the actual percentage is quite low about 50-60% students are getting placed which is also a result of the current job market scenario my plans after this degree is joining a company and finding my passion .
i can also tink about my own startup based on my passion to make a change in the society .

- Faculties are also nice and educated and help students
- Girls to boys ratio is 40:60 in a batch.

The average package was around 7-8 lac for the computer science branch.

- Ambience of the campus is very nice, it is filled with greenery
- There are multiple sports facilities such as swimming pools, gyms, cricket stadium, cycling velodrome and more
- Laboratories have up to date, modern machinery and active research work happens in the university
Dislikes
- First year hostel rooms could be bigger and can have better design
- Mess food menu could be better. The menu hardly changes every month and it is often the same items reshuffled when a new menu comes out.

KIIT has a strong placement record with 90% of students placed in companies like KPMG, Capgemini, Delloite, TCS, EY, and PwC. The average package in 2023 was 8.5 LPA, the median was 9.5 LPA, and the highest was 63 LPA.

- The university campus is so big and green. It has beautiful architecture and planning.
- The teachers are helpful. The assistants and others too.
- The seniors and the guards or bus uncles are very good

- There is nothing really to dislike in this university

Curriculum here are endless. There is a separate campus for this type of thinks. Dance, singing, writting, women empowerment, animal welfare, MUN, etc, etc. you name it and its already here in your campus.

- Good seniors and cultural activities are done often

- Lack of connection with the higher authorities
- Some students are given hostel outside the campus
- Not many facilities for student living off campus

Placements are mid.
100% placement is just a myth. You have ti work really hard here to get a good placement because kiit is a 3teir college.
Toppers may get good packages depending on the company offering them.

- Teachers are not that good. They are fine but mostly they read presentations
- Hostel food is really bad. Hate that about it

- High tuition fees are a downside, but everything is right.

Placement are excellent for campus placement from the sixth semester of b.tech program . companies visited & offer made over 650 companies like high radius , deloitte , capgemini , bosch etc . highest package around 50LPA and average package 9.5 Lakhs for cse students .

- The campus is beautiful and vast. Lots of greenery.
- Excellent sports facilities for almost all sports including football, cricket, athletics, TT, etc
- Classrooms and labs are air conditioned and well maintaned
Dislikes
- Horrible management. Sudden changes in academic calendar. Students are always informed about any happening at the last minute
- Mixed bag of faculty, mostly average teachers.
- Odd rules and regulations which make no sense need to be followed.
Placement Experience:
As previously mentioned the college works hard to place students. Over 100 companies visit for campus placement. The average package may not be very attractive at 6 lpa but there are oppurtunities to earn a higher package too.

Here is a review of KIIT University based on the experience of a close friend who is now an alumnus of the institute
Pros
- The institute offers a vibrant and happening campus life filled with fun activities.
- The institute gives extra attention to extracurricular activities and has a plethora of platforms through which one can pursue their passion.
- The accommodation facilities are decent and the hostel rooms are spacious. Hygiene is maintained
- The institute has excellent infrastructural facilities like a gym and swimming pool that charge money.
Cons
- KIIT fees are high and not everyone can afford it. This year the annual fees stood at ?3.5 Lakhs
- The faculty pool has average professors and very few are highly experienced.
- The institute also faces issues due to the huge batch size.
- The research culture and the lab sessions are poor and need to be worked on.
- The curfew for girls' hostels is another big concern here. The girls are expected to be inside the hostel by 7 30.
- Placements are decent considering the huge fees you have paid. There are several mass recruiters so getting placed won’t be a major problem.
In all, KIIT is a good choice if you have no financial constraints and want to live a luxurious campus life.

As far as B.Pharma placements are concerned. almost 70% of the students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA.
KIIT University offers good placement opportunities for all the students of the university. However, the placement package offered to B.Com students are lesser compared to other technical and management students.
