I applied to a few other colleges, but i could not secure good percentile in the JEE Mains, so getting admission into top government college was difficult for me. I was preparing for jee however I couldn't make enough score to get admission into any iits .I also applied for addmission into bits but fee was a bit higher.i got rejected from IITs NITs. I chose KIIT University for B.Tech CSE after comparing it with several other private and government colleges I applied to. I had applied to colleges like VIT Vellore VIT Chennai SRM University Manipal University and a few state government engineering colleges through state level counseling. I received confirmed admission offers from SRM and some tier two private colleges, but I chose KIIT because of its better campus infrastructure safer environment balanced crowd and relatively stronger placement record for CSE when compared to those options. I could not make it to top government colleges or institutes like NITs or IITs mainly due to a lower rank in JEE Main and high cutoffs for CSE branches. Competition was very high and even a small difference in rank made a big impact on branch allotment. In colleges like VIT and Manipal, although I got admission offers, the overall cost and crowd quality for my preferred campus were not as suitable for me as KIIT. The admission process at KIIT University is smooth and student friendly. Admission to B.Tech is mainly through KIITEE which is the most preferred exam for students applying here. The eligibility criteria include passing class 12 with Physics Chemistry and Mathematics with a minimum aggregate of around 60 percent. KIIT also accepts JEE Main scores for admission. Cutoffs vary every year based on demand and branch preference but CSE generally requires a decent rank in KIITEE or a competitive JEE Main score. The overall admission experience was well organized with online registration counseling document verification and seat allotment handled efficiently. In my case like another student, I also give jee examination and i got 94 percentile through this merit i apply more colleges for admission ,. yes i did receive rejection form a few colleges NITS, GFTIS etc i will not plan to get admission in kiit because it's high tuition fees . but i will apply in kiit for cse because admission process thorugh Jee Mains scores and also the KIITEE entrance examination. I got admission because its vibrant campus life , diverse academy program which known through my friend which are in their third year in kiit. most prefer to take KIITEE for admission to kiit. the cutoff vary each year based on the peroformance of application for b.tech program about 90-95 percentile. i also ask with my classmates for the KIITEE entrance examination experience , how to take scholarship i know it is good their are not any fee for examination at under one thousand rank you chance to got a scholarship but its all depends on your performance , hard work. over all are good to take admission in kiit....Read More

I also applied for ITER ,BUT I found this college better interns of industrial trainings and placement point of view.so I took admission in this . No I didn't get rejecteions form other colleges.i git a very nice academic career so I don't have the face these things .
