5

The course is good...the level of coding increases in 2nd year n 3rd...they chose good subjects to teach students in which DSA is very important for every student....there is a mid sem after 2 months of beginning of sem n at the end of sem there is an end sem..which is almost 1.5 months after midsem

Internships Opportunities

5

Internship opportunities by "high radius" which is affiliated with the college gives internship to almost 1000 students in a year ...and more companies r joining as they built a huge 20 floor building for the companies to come..the construction is almost finished and in an year or two there will be much more internship n job opportunities in our college... And many other companies like JP morgan give development n training programme for students in 2nd year

Placement Experience

5

Placements are actually good in our college ...many good companies like TCS , deloitte , google india and many more recruits students every year...there is a company within our college called high radius...they also recruit students for internship and job...we almost have 90 percent placement

Campus Life

5

Campus is great..the infrastructure , the space , the size of the campus is absolutely great..there r departmental libraries where u can visit n they have capacity of almost 400 students ...and then there is central library which has a very big capacity and is well designed like modern libraries...it is 5 floored building...i have never seen students go more than the 3rs floor as the capacity is huge

Hostel Facilities

5

There are many hostels both boys hostel n girls hostel ..hostel is divided into diff categories like non ac , ac , and premium ...premium hostels have a personal bathroom while other 2 have common bathroom ..registration process will be given in mail after getting selected..mess is good compared to many other hostels...they have breakfast options if u dont like the breakfast u can have bread butter n corn flakes too... 4 meals per day .breakfast , lunch , snacks n dinner in order...in a normal non ac room, there r 2 fans , 3 beds , 3 cupboards , 3 tables , 3 chairs for all 3 people in the room...there is daily sweeping of the room by maids

Admission

I liked this college due to the sports facilities and a good independent life in hostels knowing difficulty in life of a normal person ...and everyone enjoy wid their friends in hostel ..they form a group just to chill and relax in hostel...many new experiences and fun stuff is awaiting ..i had other options like manipal , cbit , vit , srm , nmims...i got rejected for jee n pes university

4

There is good relationship between faculty n students..they r very approachable even with few of your personal problems too..there will be a mentor for everyone and he communicates with parents too for any specific permission like leave from hostel for few days n all..mr.mrtyunjay das sir is my fav sir Few faculties dont give marks and do very strict checking n mostly those faculties are deans.

The placement is good with highest package being 19 lpa from JP Morgan to lowest is 3 lpa the average package is around 5 lpa . Students are eligible for placement tests from 6 sem as pwc comes for their launchpad program in 6th sem only. Companies like accenture, tcs, Infosys, cognizant, PWC, JP Morgan visit our college. Majority students around 82 percent gets placed in these companies. My plan after college is to work for any of these companies.

Placement Experience:

Placements at KIIT University for B.Tech CSE are decent and well structured, especially for students who prepare consistently. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester, although pre placement talks training sessions and internships start from the 5th or 6th semester. The university has a centralized placement cell that coordinates training aptitude tests mock interviews and company drives. Many reputed companies visit the campus every year including TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini Deloitte EY Mindtree LTI Bosch HP Amazon and a few product based startups. Mass recruiters make a large number of offers while product and service based companies offer selective roles. The average package for CSE students usually ranges between 4 to 5 LPA, while the highest package can go above 20 to 25 LPA in exceptional cases depending on the company and role such as software developer or data engineer. Around 75 to 85 percent of CSE students get placed through campus placements. Students who remain unplaced usually pursue higher studies startups off campus jobs or competitive exam preparation. Placement success largely depends on individual effort coding skills internships and communication ability. After completing my degree I plan to work in the software industry to gain practical experience and improve my technical skills. Alongside my job I also plan to upskill in advanced technologies and later consider higher studies or specialized roles depending on career growth.

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIIT Bhubaneswar are generally good and improving, especially for students who stay consistent with coding, projects, and internships. In my college, students usually become eligible for campus placements from around the 7th semester (4th year), while many students start getting internship opportunities and pre-placement offers from the 5th–6th semester itself depending on skills. Every year, companies from the software and IT domain visit the campus for roles like Software Developer / SDE, QA, Analyst, Web Developer, and sometimes Data-related roles, and students also get offers through off-campus applications. Some of the common recruiters include companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, along with product/startup opportunities depending on the year, and multiple students receive more than one offer as well. The highest package and average package vary every year and depend a lot on branch, performance, and market conditions, but overall the college provides decent placement support and training sessions like aptitude, DSA guidance, and interview preparation. The placement percentage is also fairly good for students who actively participate in the placement process, while the rest generally go for higher studies or off-campus roles. After completing my degree, my plan is to either secure a good software developer role through campus/off-campus and build experience, or if I feel more interested academically, I may prepare for higher studies or competitive exams along with improving my skills.

Campus placement i thik it's in your 4 year of engineering only i.e in your 6 semester. There is a lot of companies visited like jsw ,hindulgo and a lot to go . Jsw provides avg package of INR 12 LPA And it selected only 2 students only. I think girls get placement easily as compared to boys ... companies usually select more female candidates....I think I will go for job rather than doing masters degree.
