Course Curriculum Overview

We will get all specific course here. There are 8 semester in any stream in Institute and upto 6 semester we have 6 subject on each semester and 7th semester have 5 and 8th semester has 4 subject. Every semester has 3 module.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Placement Experience

After completion of 6 th semester candidates are eligible for campus selection. The highest you get around 20Lac per annum and minimum 5 Lac per annum. Around 30 % student get placed each year. Posco, sas motors, jindal, are coming company

Fees and Financial Aid

My college fee was 60000/year and 40000/year for hostel. Registration fee : 5000/-. Scholarship got by Jharkhand government 50000/- Nalanda Institute of technology Bhubaneswar is brand chid of balaji educational trust. Since 2006.

Campus Life

Around 2000 books are available in our library for students. The lab and maintenance room has machine and some motors. Robotics and exotica takes place every year. Where other college participate takes place.

Hostel Facilities

In our hostel there is attached washroom. There are 3 person in a room and everyone have their own bed provided by the hostel. Wifi free and three times food provided. Water filter is set on each floor.

Hostel Fee: INR 40000 per year

Admission

The admission process is very simple is you have qualify odisha Joint engineering entrance. After that you have appear for counciling online and than you have select your preferred college according to your course. You will alloted your preferred college.

Faculty

The faculty in this Institute is well knowledge and skilled. Which helps us to understand any subjects and concepts. Their behaviour is freindly and interesting. We are not able to mention the name of faculty.

Interview Experience

For admission there is no any GD in Bhubaneswar. You have to qualify the Odisha Jee entrance and than conciling will be done. After college selection according to your preffered college will be allotted to you.

Night Life

There is library in college campus which has around 2000 books for all branches. There is wifi facility also available. Campus timing is 8am to 4pm and rest is hostel. Ram mandir is nearest famous place for market and holiday spend.

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Placement Experience:

From seventh semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS, GOOGLE, MICROSOFT, AMAZON, SAMSUNG visited and about 7 to 8 lakh rupees package they are giving. Highest placement is 1.5 crore and the average package is 8 to 9 lakh rupees. About 70 percent students getting placed. I want to job in MICROSOFT.

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem the students became eligible for campus selection. Companies like Infosys, EVEREADY, ACC , ultratech and many more offering annual packages starting from 2lakhs to 8lakhs. Highest 8lakhs annual packages and average was like 3.5lakh to 4.5 lakh. Approximately 70 to 80 percentage of students are getting placements every year. After getting the degree i want to do a job in electrical companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because at first I was interested to automobile engineering but I didn't got it from other college so I preffered this mechanical engineering. It is a very though course as it seems. And there was 1:7 for faculty and student ratio. Faculties were highly qualified and some did PhD and m. Tech and other are fresher. The teaching skill differ person to person. The thermodynamics faculty was very excellent. In every year there was 2 semester and it is a little difficult. And before semester there was internal and viva.

For the addmission in this college,the we have to appear JEE MAIN entrance test.Then we have to take part in the OJEE councelling.In the councelling we choose our own choice of college and branch.After the selection we get the application form, details of fees and documents are provided in the college website.We have to visit the college during addmission process.The faculties during the addmission process are very supportive.There are a lot of students go to the college during addmission process which makes a big crowd in the college which should be improved...Read More

THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT NIT

I didn't applied for any other colleges, i only applied in Nalanda institute of technology, due to their infrastructure, placements, facilities and budget friendly course fees. I not availed any type of quota. Such as there are no major criteria but yes you should must have jee main or ojee ranking to take admission.
