• BCA is perfect for you if you are from commerce of arts background and wants to grow your career in IT industries due to any kind of reasons. as it has only one requirement that if you have got the maths as a subject during your 12th then you're good to go. • The curriculum will only help you to build your base so far you'll never gain any kind of experience from its the curriculum is like learning ABCD the rest is up to you to put it all together to grow yourself more in the field of IT. Such as doing various projects completing internships and etc • The teaching needs to be performed more practically and less theoretically as it is easy to understand rest are fine • Each semesters are performed in 6 months of interval which is basically fine as we have got enough time for completing all our syllabus
• Students are eligible for placement (only on BCA) from 5th semester. • there are very few amount of Companies visiting to this college such as TCS,royal Enfield, wipro,OD tech,Infosys etc • As per my information one of our senior who used to study in B-tech stream was hired with 4LPA package in HCL which is the highest package so far and yet in this college • There are 60%-70% of students ratio of getting placement • My plan after getting the degree is to get experience in working any kind of IT company to gain experience along side pursuing MCA in distance so I'll be able to reach more higher career levels
• Fee structure of BCA in college of engineering Bhubaneswar is 45000/Yr . so for 3 years it is 135000 ( i enrolled in to this college on the year of 2022 and the fee structure is still same in the year of 2024 ) • The basic tuition fee is 45000 per month which includes admission fees, caution fees, development fees, lab fees but they charge extra in the name of form fill up fees during each semester exam which is not fixed most of the times it's from 1000-2000. and also to be clear they'll say that you can pay the fee is EMI but once the you're about to attend your first semester you'll get to know that if you don't pay your whole yearly fee at once you will not be able to attend exams. and after you're done with second semester they'll ask you to pay full fees of the second semester within a month if you don't then each month you'll be fined with 2% fine for example if you don't pay 45000 within a month then you'll be fined with 900 each month and if you pay 22000 (which is minimum amount they accept as emi) you'll be fined 2% upon rest remaining amount. They'll force you to pay fine first if you don't pay fine first they won't be accepting fees from you. • Fees for all of the students are same just students with special categories are compensated with different government scholarship (SC,ST,OBC,SEBC) • Normal post matric scholarship is provided for (SC,ST,OBC,SEBC) SC & ST gets almost 90% of fee coverage by government which is around 40000 where as rest other Categories gets less than 50% and more than 30%
• My overall experience with campus is quite fascinating as we have got various clubs such as coding club, cultural clubs and etc which expose us to various opportunities out there such as participating in hackathon and etc. we have got tech fests which are typically held during winters from anytime between December to February and also each times with fresher parties for the freshers • Everybody gets a library card by making one for themselves in library, library also provides previous year question papers which are quite helpful for semesters. • we have got no projectors in the classrooms of BCA where there are projectors installed for MCA and b-tech students and rest are same with a green board we are provided with well maintained bench and fans (no ac) with lots of windows for ventilation I have never felt hot inside classrooms. • Sports, fitness, and all other circular activities are held by the respective clubs
• There are are enough facilities in college for handling all the subjects in their respective streams. And our relationship with our respected professors are well maintained we have never been to any kind of student-teacher fights or disruptions. Most of them are helpful and easy approachable • I personally liked Mr Suresh kumar panda who used to teach us "programming in Language c " who came as a replacement for the old profesor in the middle of the semester,he was always more practical than other professors as he used to teach most of the concepts on computers and used to explain every small details with diagrams which made everything very easy to understand and also he was always available for any kind of doubts and difficulties. • There are particularly no faculties that I despise, just there are some faculties who are freshly recruited and lack experience so as students we often gave difficulties in understanding their consepts for example our EVS professor in first semester I don't remember her name as she was there for only a month during our first semester • There are 6 semester following with internals there are no failing in internals as the internals Marks gets added into your semester marks so the better you score the more you get. in semester if you fail in a single subject or get into backlog you'll be able to clear it in next performing semester for example if you fail in a subject in first semester then you'll be able to clear it in next time when the first semester is conducted for your juniors. in our batch as I'm writing this semester while I'm in 5th semester we had no backlogs in our entire batch through out our past semester's
• The reason for me applying to this college was mainly pocket friendly plus good commuting as it is only 3km sway from my home no comparation on course or curriculum as 90% of college's in odisha got the same syllabus for BCA as we all fall under utkal University there are only few who have their own such as KIIT (out of normal people's budget) • I solely applied for this college and got my admission easily there are no lengthy processes such as entrance exams or anything if you have got maths as a subject in 12th then you're good to go.

I didn't apply directly to college I registered in OJEE with my jee rank and got this college. In my preference list I put this college on top because of its less fee than other colleges and less students intake.

I applied first for this COEB college as it very branded college and it established about 20 years ago .It also provides skills .so I choose this college over other colleges.I don't get any rejection from other colleges as I applied first for COEB college and I got admission in this college. They called the students and took an interview and then admit the students.

As I have alredy told that this college is one of the oldest engineering college in eastern india and mechanical aslo the oldest trade among all other branches so I have choosed this college and I have not applied in any other college. After qualigying plus two I have taken spot admission here.
Because this college is very good in campus selection and the affordable course fees for middle class students and it provides different source like industrial tour internship seminar etc. So that i chose this college
I chose this college because of my brother he was also studied here and recommended me this college No i rejected the college I applied to because of distance We have to submit your 10 and 12 result card your caste certificate residency certificate and other important documents You have to pass out jee mains to get admission

I applied for mostly in Delhi Jamia Millia Islamia college, Aligarh Muslim university, GITA, Silicon, CV Raman college, KIIT, I got seats in every college except Jamia Milia Islamia and Aligarh Muslim University. In Aligarh Muslim University I got the seat and last cut of round as I was option only for computer science and engineering departments but I already took admission in College of Engineering Bhubaneswar as in 2nd round I got my seat alloyed so I didn't waited much to join and simply ran forth college after reading couple of decent reviews. I got rejections from Jamia Millia Islamia and also got rejections from Aligarh Muslim University first but at last round Aligarh Muslim University gave me a chance but till then I have already took the admission. Admission process is very smooth , just simply enroll for OJEE counselling and enter you college name and if you have that marks then easily process will follow up, moreover if you miss counselling than simply go to the college and tell them that you want to take admission and they will guide you how to make your admission process smooth. It's a literally very easy process. And even if you have low marks or very low marks then also you can simply go to the college and they will make sure you get the admission there. But don't forget to negotiate the fee structure, there is a high chance of discount if you negotiate with the fee structure.

I had applied almost 5 colleges like CET,GIFT,GANDHI, EINSTEIN COLLEGE and COEB.But at the end I choose COEB college due to its campus infrastructure, Learning environment and a peaceful graduation career.
In our college the eliability criteria for the course is minimum 45 for st and sc and general it is belong to 60 to 70 percentage but to secure a seat you need to Appear JEE main exam. A course of 50% to 60% in class 12 secondari from an accredited board is required for BSC computer science.
