Course Curriculum Overview
Academics here means having some real goals and syllabus too vast that as a student we can never relax here. Also, modern facilities and amenities means we learn the way the modern corporate world operates. Also, intenrships are a part of our culture and our college have made them mandatory too for us.
Placement Experience
I am in my final year and 80% of my classmates including me are already placed. All top MNCs comes to our campus and currently most students are placed in the ranked of 10-20 LPA of CSE branch and top placement was of 52 LPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
IIIT Bhubaneswar is best as fees that it commands is less than all the IIITs. Where most IIITs charge around 2-2.5 lakhs a year our branch charges just 1 lakhs a year. Including both the semester exam fees is around 10-12k and since hostels are mandatory that too costs a little more than a lakh per year.
Campus Life
Our campus is very big as it is around 25 acres and has various buildings. One huge building just for library and computer. Hostels building too is of 8 floors is sufficient to accomodate the number of students that our campus has. Football ground hosts matches as well and then a hospital too is there at our campus.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel for girls a single building of 8 floors. Nearly 300 girls capacity hostel and is not entirely full. However only 2 seater rooms are there and washrooms are there on each and every floor of the girls hostels.
Admission
JEE Counselling makes us get admission here as those who miss out on IIT then if they have top ranks but missed out on IIT can get admission here. So my rank was around 5000 and I was getting admission in many IIITs but I chose Bhubaneswar as academically it is ranked in top IIITs.
Faculty
Faculties are skilled is one thing but the manner in which they teach us is quite amazing. Faculties are so good that they dont help us grow in academics but as a person too. The reason why faculties are so lovable is because they motivate us to participate in tech competitions and also talk to our parents if competitions are off campus.
Night Life
I am a huge fan of historical sites and luckily close to our college we have two such and they are Usayaguri and Khadagiri Caves. For people who are into religious sites can go to religious sites such as Lingaraj Temple. Our intime is 8 pm so before that we have to be present in our campus.
