IIITB is best!

I gave JEE to get selected for IITs but that couldn't happen and therefore IIITs were my second option. My rank was about 63000 in jee mains and i think with my rank this was the best option. My results werent as good as i was expecting but i scouted out this college already ,I went through Josaa and CSAB to get the admission for odisha students i think there is special gateway too. The cutoffs are increasing everi year as the demand exceeds shows the development of the college and more people are coming from far away states each year in cluding kerala , tamilnadu, punjab, Madhya Pradesh. This was the best collage that I was getting based on my JEE rank . I was also getting lower NITs like NIT shrinage , goa etc . But my father denied and he thought that a better branch will give a better palacement at the end of the 4 years .I also got into BITs pilani Electrical Engineering , but I have to put down that idea because of the high fee at the BITs . so this was the last option . i applied only in the josaa councelling, unlike others who apply to many other private colleges. this was the institute i was alloted through the councelling. government college was on my preference then private ones, mostly due to fee structure and students. there is no interview taken while admission. 50% of seats are reserved for odisha students and other 50% is open to all. cutoff for open category is higher, then state category and other categories like female/sc-st, etc. cutoff order for branches are cse>it>ce>etc>eee...Read More
