KIIT : King of iit

Course is overall relevant but still follow some traditional dogmas. Start the first year using c and use it througout 1st and 2nd but at the 6th semester python has to be used. This practice is absurd. Other than that all the important subjects are in correct order .

Internship oppurtunities are abundant in many roles such as software, marketing, data entry, data analyst, web developer,etc. Companies regularly take internship test to provide an oppurtunity. Companies such as nvidia, bny mellon, providence, pwc, lighthouse have visited till now

As previously mentioned the college works hard to place students. Over 100 companies visit for campus placement. The average package may not be very attractive at 6 lpa but there are oppurtunities to earn a higher package too.

Each semester tuition fees is 1.5 lakhs Hostel fees is 50000 And mess fees is 22500 Before each end semester an exam fees of 1000 to be paid Also a safety deposit of 50000 which will be returned after course completion

The campus life is good overall. Multiple clubs and societies exist. Events keep happening every month. Inter student engagement is great. Libraries dont have books for casual reading. Mostly academics related books are available. Annual fest takes place which has multiple events and prize pool

Overall hostel is decent. Clean in most aspects. I opted for 3 sharing bed and it is good. There are other options such as 2 sharing and private rooms too. The 3 sharing option is good. Wifi works well for the most part. Warm water facility also available. Good security and parking .

I applied to several other colleges such as vit chennai and nirma ahmedabad. This college was providing CSE branch unlike the others. The hostel and accommodation also seemed better than the vit. Provides guaranteed placement. Training and placement cell actually work really hard to get students placed.

Average faculty mostly. Some faculty are actually very knowledgable and experienced who also know how to properly teach. Half of the faculty seem to lack morivation to teach. They may be knowledgeable but fail to impart the same

No night life. This does not exist. The absurd in time of 8 PM ruins this aspect of college life. If the in time is broken fines are issued against the student. It is apparently for safety and discipline but as it stands we dont have the most disciplined students
