The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . The exams are not so frequent and the papers can be rated as moderate

there are many companies which come for hiring interns in the college the companies like barclays, microsoft , google, amazon all the companies come to hire interns for the college. The stipend provided too is good

Year-wise fee break up(general cateory): First year: 208500 rupees which includes tution fees of about 1,70000 development and registration fee of 15000 lab and library fee of 12000 caution money of 10000 and other compulsory charges of 1500 Second to Fourth year: 202500 rupees per year. tution fees of about 165000 dev and registration fees of 15000 lab and library fees of 15000 other charges of 10500 hence the fees for 4 year Btech sums up to about 8,16,000 rupees The fees has been stable for the last 2 3 batches only a minor increase is there in the fees. For SC/ST students the fees is about 1.65 lakh per year that is only tution fees is applied and all other fees are waivered For OBC (non creamy layer) only 10 % of tution fees is waivered Scholarships and financial aid: central sectormerit- cum-means up to rupees 20000 per year for top 10% of batch based on jee rank +family income<8 lakhs

The overall campus life is just fine there are many clubs in the college there are technical clubs then there are drama clubs then dance and music clubs are there t,art club is present there as well . a techno management fest known as innovision is organised annually then national entreprenuship summit(NES ) is organised as well then celebrity night occurs every year

This was the best college i could have gotten into moreover i was getting the branch of my choice Based upon its nitrf ranking its ranked 3rd among nits and offer good placements . I got into this college by JEE mains. To get into NITS/IIITS AND IITS you need to give and clear jee mains based upon your rank and cutoff you are either eligible for few colleges and are rejected by the few other .

The faculties are well qualified and overall good with some exceptions some faculties usually just read from the ppts and all but few of the faculties also emphasize on teaching greatly The faculties are approachable that is you can ask them doubts after the class and all. I liked the maths faculty named Kamlesh Acharya he taught maths very well. There are 2 sets of exams in the college one being the mid sem and the other being the end sems Usually the the checking of question paper is fluid and most of the students pass baring few exceptions . If in case the paper was very tough or something like that then the teachers follow relative grading . The course is quite releavnt including buzz topics like AI and ML

The night life is very chill especially for boys you can roam around in the campus freely and safely for girls too till 10 pm they can freely move around in campus there are various cafetarias and restuarant which are opened till late night to cater to the mid night cravings of the student Few of the restaurants include Dominos pizza, keventers, Dosa Plaza ,GD birla night canteen, Andmany more
