Internships Opportunities

I am a first year undergraduate. I am right now not eligible for the internship. The intership starts at 2nd year and requires you to be skillful realted to coding, management or research field. These internships help further in placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure comprises of hostel, mess , tution and miscellaneous fees...which is overall 90000 per semester as a general category student. I have also got FFE scholarship of 50000 and I would apply for loan too to buy a new laptop and help in further studies.

Campus Life

The campus life is great... Interaction is a bit less with seniors but the clubs are great to take part and learn from...the infrastructure too is really great and the best of the best facilities are provided to each students.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are great ,providing good mess food , badminton, volleyball and table tennis court. The hostel also provides a well furnished gym and a study room where students come to study and excercise.

Hostel Fee: INR 10000 per year

Admission

The course requires us to clear jee mains in which the cutoff is above 90 percentile for general category. The form is found on NTA website and fees is about 1000 rs for general category. The exam happens twice in a year and by difficulty level is pretty descent...with maths the hardest and toughest. College must give proper admission details in their website during admission process.

Faculty

Faculty to Student ratio is pretty descent... The professor are well experienced in their subject and most of them are interactive with the students. The Faculties are great in terms of interaction but their's still a barrier of explanation which they provide to us.

Honest Opinion in the college

Placement Experience:

There are internship opportunities at the starting of 3rd year and job opportunities at the starting or 4th year. This year many companies visited the campus which include DE Shaw, Flipkart, Oracle, TCS, VISA(for summer internship drive), and various start-ups like Sarvam AI and many more. Highest package was 56.8LPA by DE Shaw. Flipkart took a total of 20 candidates (12 were selected for 34.5LPA and 8 for internship opportunities). Average package going around 9LPA. TCS mass recruited candidates for around 4 LPA, and ORACLE has been consistent at taking candidates for 24 to 25 LPA. Percentage of Students placed for CSE branch is 90. Many students opt for M Tech courses via GATE exam after getting their degree.

Value For money college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I mainly chose this course because the college is Autonomous, which allows them to update the syllabus faster than standard university colleges; seeing subjects like Python and Data Science in the early semesters really influenced my decision. The curriculum is decent for getting placed in service-based companies like TCS or Wipro since they focus heavily on the basics and aptitude, though for high-end product roles or research, you have to put in extra effort yourself. I definitely think they need to reduce the theory load and focus more on practical coding because sometimes it feels like we are just writing assignments instead of building things. Also, the junior faculty rely too much on reading from slides, which really needs to change to make classes more engaging. As for exams, it feels like we are always writing them since we have two internals and one end-semester exam per term. They are moderately difficult and the checking is strict, so you can't slack off, but the tight schedule can get quite exhausting.

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.
