KIIT University Review (3rd year student)

course curriculam is relevant and outdated at the same time. depends on the subject. the curriculam is based more on theory as compared to rela hands on experience which is a down side of the curriculam here in KIIT. 2 exams are conducted with atleast 1 month of gap in between them. mid sems are of 1.5hrs and end sems are of 2.5hrs.

JP morgan hyperbot accenture TCS arre some companies that are providing internships and placements in our college. these companies are offering upto 40,000-50,000rs aned around 15LPA placement offers. projects are based of different concepts

students from 6th semester are eligible for campus placements here. recently , JP morgan and Chase , Accenture , Hyperbot camd for placements and offeres upto 20LPA were made. highest went fro 60lakh last year adn average package is 8LPA 90% students get placed here my plan after getting this degree is to use this degree to study further. MBA or masters is what i'm considering

KIITFEST is the annual tech and cultural fest takes place one every year in february. wide variety of books and generals are avaliable in the library. yes very good facilities for sports and extracurricular activities yes many

in room you get , A chair , Table , cupboard and window AC if opted for AC rooms. meal quality is average. sanitation is maintained . taste varies depednding upon the dish. the menu changes every week registration for hostel is done at the time of admission. no PG. I live in hostel

I chose this college because online reviews were good and i felt this college is good. i applied for SRM chennai and gave JEE and MHCET to get admissioned in any btech college. i got confirmed admission from SRM and JayPee Guna. get i got rejected from many colleges. i didnt make it into those colleges because in some i didnt get good marks in there entrance exam and in some i didnt meet the academic requirements. for admission in my college we can come in through KIITEEE , kiits own entrance exam or by JEE marks.

there is faculty for every 70 students. teachers are approchable. they share there free time so that students can meet and solve there querrys. my cloud computing faculty was really nice. sir gave good marks and had good knowledge about the subject. there are 3 split in the marking. Total marks - 100 Mid sems - 20 marks Internal marking - 30 marks end sems exam - 50 marks total comprising of 100 marks. the marking scheme is transparent and you score what you deserve. internal marking depends on facuty to faculty. internal marks are on the basis of assignments , attendance, class interaction and other parameters teachers give marks to students

nightlife is good around the campus. many gyms are available around the campus cafeterias are provided by the college itself. there are many famous places are the college. puri and stupas are near bhuvaneswar good for recreation
