Cleanliness, as hostels were always cleaned and dusted

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was relevant and upto the industry standards. The subject were relevant in each semester and faculty made it easier to understand and help. Each Semester two exams were there, mid sem exams and end sem exams.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 600000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are multiple companies which comes with internship offers. On an average stipend varies from 10,000-50,000 INR per month. For the projects, students have to make two projects in their final year. Minor and a major project

Placement Experience

From 6th semester students are eligible for placements. Over 150 companies visited our campus for placements. The average package was around 7-8 lac for the computer science branch. Almost 80-90% students were placed

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly the fees including hostel was about 6 lacs The tution fee for 4 years was 14 lac excluding hostel. we paid 2.5 lacs yeaely for hostel. for every exam, there was an exam fee of 1000. students have to pay before exam.

Campus Life

The campus life is great. There are multiple clubs and societies to join based on your interests. Whether it's film, technology, art, fashion, dance, sports. There is something for everyone. The library is one of the best assets.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is great. There are different types of accommodation one can choose from. For the meals, each hostel has a mess where they serve breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner. The mess fees is separate.

Hostel Fee: INR 250000 per year

Admission

KIIT is ranked number 1 in private universities in India. Also i wanted to complete my BTech from Computer Science and Engineering. I got the opportunity to study CSE here, hence I went for this university. For the admission process there's an exam called KIITEE and the course you get is based on your rank in the entrance exam.

Faculty

For each course there is one faculty assigned. For lab 3 assistants and one main teacher is present. Each semester 2 exams happen one mid semester and one final exam. Course curriculum is also relevant upto the industry standards.

Night Life

For girls, the hostel in timing is of 6.30pm. The campus has all the amenities, gym, cafeteria food courts, library and public areas like garden swimming pool, badminton courts, tennis court. The locality is totally safe

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . The exams are not so frequent and the papers can be rated as moderate

KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.

Navigating KIIT : a comprehensive review of facilities and experiences
