Course Curriculum Overview

4

faculity members, course structure, exam systems , marking schemes all are relevalant for students. which well structures by the authorities to make high teaching standards . teaching methods are good and it is also depends on student hardworks.

5

for your information i would say kiit collaborate with top companies to offer internship with stipend and more companies are visited for recuruiting . like high radius , amazon, accenture , atlassian , deloitte etc, for role of software develpers , web developers and many kinds of roles . projects during their internships like market surveys, financial analysis , hr policy documents .

Placement Experience

4

Placement are excellent for campus placement from the sixth semester of b.tech program . companies visited & offer made over 650 companies like high radius , deloitte , capgemini , bosch etc . highest package around 50LPA and average package 9.5 Lakhs for cse students .

Fees and Financial Aid

It is vary with which course you applied in my course b.tech in cse for four year around 16lakhs and and also vary hostel fee with your hostel type and mess fee will be same for all hostel . three baded with non ac around 1lakhs per year and registration plus admission fees around 75k but you admission through kiitee and under 1thousand rank you get scholarships.

Campus Life

5

kiit hosts the annual techno cultural fest which called kiit fest held in february . this college provide central library . best classroom facilities with air conditioning , lcd projectors interactive display mentor any time . and in sports & extracurricular activities provide good facilities.

Hostel Facilities

5

facilities provided in the room , meal quality & menu and registration process for hostel however you come for reporting time you got hostel but you pay fees before / on day . they provide room , cot , table , chair , cupboard, mattress, pillow, bedsheet , on day for connectivity they provide wi-fi which is having best speed and also provide reading room air conditionar and outdoor games . meal quality are decent more hygeinic, overall good .

Admission

In my case like another student, I also give jee examination and i got 94 percentile through this merit i apply more colleges for admission ,. yes i did receive rejection form a few colleges NITS, GFTIS etc i will not plan to get admission in kiit because it's high tuition fees . but i will apply in kiit for cse because admission process thorugh Jee Mains scores and also the KIITEE entrance examination. I got admission because its vibrant campus life , diverse academy program which known through my friend which are in their third year in kiit. most prefer to take KIITEE for admission to kiit. the cutoff vary each year based on the peroformance of application for b.tech program about 90-95 percentile. i also ask with my classmates for the KIITEE entrance examination experience , how to take scholarship i know it is good their are not any fee for examination at under one thousand rank you chance to got a scholarship but its all depends on your performance , hard work. over all are good to take admission in kiit.

Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University - [SOA], Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)
Reviewed on Jan 9, 2026(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

1. Relevance & Comprehensiveness (Rating: 7/10) The course curriculum at SOA is updated frequently compared to state government colleges. Why I chose this: I was attracted to the fact that the syllabus includes modern electives like Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, and Data Analytics starting from the 3rd year itself, rather than waiting for the final semester. Real-world Prep: The curriculum is designed largely to crack placement interviews. There is a heavy focus on Aptitude and Core Coding subjects (DS/Algo) which helps in getting a job. However, for deep research or R&D roles, the theoretical depth is sometimes lacking. 2. Areas for Improvement Teaching Methods: A major issue is the reliance on PowerPoint Presentations (PPTs). Many faculty members just read off the slides. I would prefer more "Whiteboard Teaching" for mathematical and logic-based subjects. Lab Records: We spend hours handwriting practical records/files which are just copied from the manual. This is a waste of time. This time should be used for live coding projects or hackathons. Outdated Subjects: First-year students (even in CS/IT) are forced to learn heavy mechanical/civil concepts. While basics are good, the depth of these non-core subjects should be reduced. 3. Exam System & Difficulty Frequency: It is quite hectic. We have 2 semesters a year. Each semester has 2 Internal Assessments (Quizzes/Mid-sems) and 1 End-Semester Exam. Basically, you have an exam every 1.5 to 2 months. Difficulty: The exams are Easy to Moderate. It is not very difficult to pass. If you study the "Class Notes" and "Previous Year Questions" for 3-4 days before the exam, you can easily score an 8.0 SGPA. The checking is lenient for passing, but strict if you are aiming for a 9.5+ SGPA.

I actually have a very little idea about placements of our uni few seniors says there is not a single company visiting, while few were discussing the highest placement which was something like 20lpa or something,i think companies do visit our campus it may not be much but i have definetly seen one or two companies visiting. I plan to do MBA after my Btech so i am not that serious about whether i am getting placed or not.

Gandhi Engineering College (GEC Autonomous), Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)
Reviewed on Dec 22, 2025(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I mainly chose this course because the college is Autonomous, which allows them to update the syllabus faster than standard university colleges; seeing subjects like Python and Data Science in the early semesters really influenced my decision. The curriculum is decent for getting placed in service-based companies like TCS or Wipro since they focus heavily on the basics and aptitude, though for high-end product roles or research, you have to put in extra effort yourself. I definitely think they need to reduce the theory load and focus more on practical coding because sometimes it feels like we are just writing assignments instead of building things. Also, the junior faculty rely too much on reading from slides, which really needs to change to make classes more engaging. As for exams, it feels like we are always writing them since we have two internals and one end-semester exam per term. They are moderately difficult and the checking is strict, so you can't slack off, but the tight schedule can get quite exhausting.
