KIIT School of Biotechnology Bhubaneswar: Admission 2025, Fees, Courses, Cutoff, Ranking, Placement

I applied to Amity University and Adamas University and got a confirmed admission from both. But I had my sights set on KIIT. The reason for this is mostly because of the integrated nature of the course. And also because through word of mouth we had learnt that KIIT has good placements. The admission process here is fairly simple, there is an Exam , KIITEE. Once you've appeared for the examination you are eligible for the admission process.

I applied to many colleges in DU and others through CUET. I had applied for ICAR as well. The Counselling process was taking too long. I had more than enough marks for almost all the applied colleges. But due to some personal reasons, I had to stay in my state. So I chose this college. And for another college, I had made some major blunders and delays during the counseling process that led to me taking admission in ksbt. KIIT University has an Overall NIRF ranking of 15. along with studies, there are many opportunities for different co-curricular activities. Students from different nationalities get to interact. The admission is based on the merit of the KIITEE (KIIT entrance exam) . Admission through NEET/JEE exam marks is also done. Students of both maths and bio backgrounds are eligible. They should have atleast 60% in 10+2 with subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Maths / Biology or biotechnology taken altogether.

The eligibility criteria includes, The interested student to atleast score 65 percentile in his/her 12th board, the applied subjects that one should have opted in 12th should be pcb or pcmb. The form is available on KIIT's official website. Each year KIIT provide Kiitee exam for admission. The reservation of SC/ST or Physically handicapped is available.

You are eligible for the course if you have had biology in your 12th examination and you have cleared them successfully. The application form can be found on KIIT's website and the fees were around Rs. 1000 when I took the exam and the application dates are usually right after the end of board examinations. The frequency and timing of the exams were one exam in the morning during our time but now it might have increased to two entrance exams and the one you perform better in is considered for admission. The admission process can be made a bit more transparent where they reveal what are the cutoffs in the entrance to secure a particular course or department.

It was nice, anyone is eligible for this course. You just have to show your jee Or neet Or take a direct admission. The people near the office can improve in behavior, they are seemingly rude, which is one point I didn't like at first.

Eligibility: PCM/PCB on 10+2 class and 75% result should be scored. The application form is available on the KIIT website. Application fees were Rs.75000. We had to fill out the application form 1 month before the entrance test.

You have to give KITEE entrance exam first. From December they open a portal for the entrance exam form fillup, then after giving the exam according to percentile grade you can get a chance for counselling, there are phases 1,2 exams accordingly.

I was always interested to pursue research in the field of biology along with learning some technical aspects. Becoming a scientist has always fascinated me and when it comes to choosing KIIT for my bachelors and masters studies I did my of research on this educational institution before joining here. No doubt, if you have the caliber and will in you and i you are dedicated to continue your study in the field of bio technical research then you are at right place.

The curriculum for this integrated course is very unique, it saves you much time than doing your regular M.Tech. Doing these degrees together helps in PhD research. We have a total of 10 semesters with one main exam each semester.

The curriculum gives out a very detailed approach to the subject Biotechnology. Besides just biology, it also deals with various technical stuff like computer applications and the technology involved in it. There are mid semesters and then the main semesters. Labs are there too in each semester.
