What is KIIT University's ranking?

If you are looking for official rankings released by ranking bodies, magazines, and newspapers, then you have come to the wrong place. I dont believe the rank of an institute is the right way to evaluate its credibility and worth. Rank is just a number assigned by magazines and newspapers for advertisement and is often misleading. I feel it's better to refer to national/international standards for that. KIIT has been awarded 'category A' by MHRD, govt. of India and also enjoys'Tier 1' accreditation for Engineering streams by NBA of AICTE. This is what you call a big achievement and the right portrayal of the institute's image. Despite being younger, it can still be compared to old institutes like KIIT and Manipal. KIIT provides excellent opportunities even to an average student. The institute focuses equally on both academics and extracurriculars to ensure holistic development. Too lengthy courses, it’s a bit over the par budget and sometimes people get biased too
Campus gets drained in monsoon, it’s hard to move in campus during rainy days

They do seminar and webinar to make you aware of the companies that would want to recruit you in your 3rd year. They surely provide you with high packages only if you're capable of outcasting your wisdom and knowledge

All About KIIT

The college ambience is very natural raw and beautiful the open libraries here help a lot to concentrate on our studies
Faculty here is very educated and respectful towards their students they help students in every possible way

Not belonging to odisha makes it difficult to match their tastebuds and adjust to their food culture and thats why someties mess provides the regional dishe which are not familiar to our taste buds
Sometimes it becomes hard to travel one point to other in the campus as the campus is huga and we are not able to converse with the localites

College provides internship in 5th semester or third year and for differet time periods maxing 6 months which includes monthly stipends from major MNC's like accenture,TCS etc. which gives us experience and also we get certifications from the respective companies to enhance our resume and which helps in better placemnets

I love my college and now I missed this.

Best things is that all the faculty are very much talented and very helpful for the students.
Placement will good for the students. Some campus will provided for career growth.

Sometimes students are smoking and drinking alcohol in college campus

Tata, maruti and Mercedes, appolo tyres and so many companies are offers to student as internship in their company and gives stipend to those. Ashok Leyland and bajaj also gives opportunity like this.

Sports facilities provided to the students
It is an anti ragging as well as tobacco and alcohol free campus

Girls:boys ratio is 70:30 respectively but it though fluctuates per year
Their are gym facilities provided to the students but there are no proper gym trainers

Many internships are available for the students till freshy like from the 1st years many of the faculties here are under certain biotech projects which are fulfilled by the students of biotech they provide summer as well as winter internships to the students in this 5 years

They provide every student a laptops , and it is a high spec laptop.
The faculty is really good , each student has his own mentor , and the teachers are experienced and helpfull .

The fess could be little less, but the facility they provide is worth it
The college timing is little bit odd . 10am-12am and 3pm-5pm

Kiit provides many opportunities, They provide courses and internship form top MNC's like meta , Microsoft, etc. Each course include different feilds like , web development , artificial intelligence , cloud computing, etc .

KIIT: A Dynamic Campus Experience full of Trials and Triumphs

Campus life is good . Kiit has a very big and vibrant campus anyone would like , there are numerous clubs , societies , events allowing students to explore their interests
Infrastructure is pretty good , the classrooms are well maintained , the teachers are good , there are above 30 food courts inside the campus

Large number of students in a single branch .
Luck plays a big role getting a good faculty or mentor

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester end or starting of 7th semester, students officially become eligible for campus placement. Almost above 200 companies visit on campus placement every year. Most of them are mass recruiter offering packages between 4-8 lakhs per annum . But there are top notch companies who offer 15+ lpa package .

The Experience of a Newbie

Student Friendly place they keep their first year students totally separate which is both good and bad, but this prevents ragging possibilities
The environment is very clean with very greenery which makes the place very beautiful.

The timings are classes are so congested so there is no time for rest.
The number of shuttle which helps us move from one place to other should also definitely increase

I have very bried idea about this but companies like Deloitte, Dell Technologies, JP Morgan and Co, Mackinsey, PWC and many many more companies have recruited their intern from KIIT in the pat years. I have very small idea in case of the projects but I have heard there was the development of thermal screening door with face recognisation and, designing and synthezing new antibacterial agents under research projects. But this is definitely not it there are more.

I like infrastructure , faculty and greenish campus
campus is very big and spatious. rich in environment and style

there is nothing to dislike everything is good except drainage system

till now I did not get internship. but i have heared there are number of companies visiting for providing the technical as well as sales roles to number of student but the compition is quite high so do hard

I like how diversified the institution is people of various culture has come to study together we get to learn new things from each other.
I liked the faculties of my class they are very cooperative and helpful

the campus i s very big so from hostel to other campus for classes by walking is very tiring
the food worst ever like some food comes with insects with it

There are companies like Infosys and Tata that offer internships. One of my locality brothers studying in kiit 3rd year is doing an internship in which the company is paying him 1 lakh per month, they had to do many projects in it like creating menu UI for the company etc.
