- the school facility and infrastructure is good.
Dislikes
- the classrooms smell bad which decreases our concentration level. and the chairs are very uncomfortable/. also the college wifi is so bad like why do they even have it then?
- also from the learning perception from our course: we get thought the same stuff the IMBA students do. and their tuition fees is so much lesser. plus we dont even have placements nor any internships given to us.
- 3 out of 10 teachers know what they are teaching us. rest are just reading from the PPT. more than us doing marketing and management student stuff, we are told to do role plays and shit. I better get a acting degree along with this.
Course Curriculum Overview:
im only half way through the course so my answer wont really justify the question but recently i did an intership with lululemon, and they taught me more than what this course could in less than a week. i think instead of us learning extra stuff for the sake of it wont be relevant. teachers should start giving us more theriotical assignments and more industry visits, because through these projects, we get to learn more for the real life applications.

- The college appreciates and supports a lot of extra curricular activities and has a vast number of psychology committees itself which make it more interactive
- The college really encourages batchmates and seniors interactions.
- Very friendly teachers making learning fun and also a lot of importance is given to learning made fun instead of rote learning.
Dislikes
- The fees is way too much. Students are being charged showing the pictures of the glass building and money is being charged for the infrastructure just to make the students sit in the mithibai building.
- The boys to girls ratio in atleast my division is 64:3
- Events and activities in the mumbai campus are visibly very less as compared to the Navi Mumbai campus who are charged way lesser too.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The reason I wanted to choose nmims even after I got into many other colleges was because it offered a very interesting syllabus and curriculum. A lot of major subjects in Psychology are taught through all the 8 semesters making it very interesting and informative for students to further decide what they want to do in the field. The university offers credentials which are widely accepted for studying and working out of India. The university focuses on the primary principles of not encouraging rote learning and making learning a fun and memorable experience.

- The course structure and the syllabus flow is amazing compared to other courses offering the same degree.
- The teachers are highly approachable and the learning environment is nurturing
- Focus on research and practical skill development.
Dislikes
- The campus is small and overcrowded, gets crowded .
- To many students in one classroom , the teacher can’t focus on everyone
- Have to sit in the mithibai building instead of the NMIMS building
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course allows you to delve into all sub themes of psychology which made me choose the college. A lot of importance is given to practical learning which is highly rare in indian colleges. Internship opportunities are provided in the second year. The teachers have an overall good teaching standard except for a few visiting faculty, but constructive feedback is highly appreciated with them. The course is difficult and rigorous and requires constant learning.

- The course curriculum changes every year according to the changes happening
- The placement cell has been set up by the college with affiliations to firms outside Mumbai as well
Dislikes
- The campus life can be improved as SVKM having a lot of colleges doesn’t have the best of campuses
- The college doesn’t provide with a hostel for outstation students
- The exam setting of the college can sometimes be a little messed
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum for me being a BBA LLB student comprised of management subjects in the first year and in the third year the course consists of just law subjects. The first two years you get a basic knowledge about the legal subjects and contains management subjects like finance, marketing, management, business environment and economics. Every subject has 60 classes in a semester and 80% attendance is compulsory in all subjects

- Infrastructure is to die for , gives singapore airport vibes
Dislikes
- Too much pressure, too much content in each subject
- Frequent tests and exams just drains you up
- Attendance is the major issue, 85% is must in each subject
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course curriculum is designed in a way like it will help you throughout, perhaps you don't need to stress about learning from outside sources. Everything is well taught in class itself and notes and ppts are regularly circulated after each session by the prof in the outlook

- The girl to boy ratio is sonewhat less. But it depends upon your stream. The college has great options for extracurricular activities.
- The college has great infrastructure. The canteen is amazing and affordable. The classrooms are also neat and clean, the labs are upto date with the latest technologies.
- The professors are all professionals and will help you out when ever you need help. Be kind to them and they will be very helpful.
Dislikes
- The college fees is too high compared to other colleges. Though its a private college, its high.
- The college timings can sometimes get to you. Its basically office hour timings for some years, so travelling becomes hecktic if you stay far away.
Placement Experience:
My stream is BTech IT so I know about the IT placements which include companies like:
TCS (Tata Consultancy Services)
Infosys
Accenture
Capgemini
L&T
Wipro
Oracle
IBM
Around 85 to 90% of the eligible students get placements.
My plans after degree is to go for Masters/MBA. But before that get a job for 1 year or 2 or do some internships.

- I like the College infrastructure, it feels luxury to be there.
- There are multiple Clubs, committee and events to attend
- Make network with the peers, with faculties and with the industry experts
Dislikes
- I don't like the Placement structure. They leave the students who are not able to crack interviews. They should support the students. everyone paid the hefty college fees which make a burden for furture.
- Some of the faculties are top notch but some are totally nonsense
Placement Experience:
NMIMS Offers placement opportunity with an average package of 12 Lakh for MBA in Digital Transformation. Companies like Axis bank, Aditya birla group, Deloitte, KPMG, and many more comes to campus. There were multiple roles open like project management, Business Analyst, Digital Transformation and Marketing and sales and many more.

- I the concept of recorded lectures. I you missed the live lectures you can just visit your portal and see the recorded lectures as well.
- The fee structure is good. The MBA program was not too expensive. Although it was a distance learning program, still the fee structure is decent.
- Experienced faculty. The teaching staff was too experienced and professional at the same time. There methods of teaching was really good and different in online mode as well.
Dislikes
- To Reaching out to counsellor or any faculty is difficult in online mode.
- Delayed services sometimes. You have tor raise the service request for anything, sometimes the resolution is delayed
Course Curriculum Overview:
The NMIMS distance learning curriculum helps you in understanding of business management concepts, it covers core subjects of Management, finance, operations or HR. It help in enhancing the critical thinking.
Talking about the exam timing. You get 2.5 hours for completing the examination of 70 marks.

- I like the infrastructure of the classroom and also that the whole college is easy centralised which makes you feel comfortable in the humid weather of Mumbai... Also I like that the college is fully neat and clean and all the staff works very hard..
- I like the college canteen it is very much affordable and there are lots and lots of varieties for food ... Also the canteen service provides you with packing of your food if you want to take it at your home and have it so that's also plus point
- I like the faculty they are very much supportive humble and corporative in nature and comes from a very strong educational background...
Dislikes
- There is no campus life you will not get any sport to play there is no music room no dance room it's just a building and the floor is your college it's basically feels like a corporate job of 9 to 5
- Also I didn't like that though there are many varieties of food available in the canteen but all of them are not very good some of them taste like hell and you may also get a stomach ache after eating it. Also in drinks like nimbu pani it's just hell
- There is very less social interaction in the college people don't take initiative in interacting with you even the faculty they are very good but it feels like they are just coming to do their job teaching you and going out they don't try to interact
Placement Experience:
From 9th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies that visited nimims Mumbai are ALMT Legal, TATA Housing, Barclays etc . Out of 59 students 50 students were placed including 15 pre placement offer. The highest package offered is of 19 lakh average package is of 11 to 12 lacs. 75% to 80% students are getting placements in this college. My plans after the degree is to go for government job...

Its a great course and its upto date with the modern technology like ai integrated marketing etc.
All the professors are MBA proffesors and the course can be very competitive as everyone has cleared the npat and qaulified to come there.

What are the reviews for the NMIMS Mumbai hostel for girls and the Sanghavi hostel for MBA girls?

NMIMS hostel facility includes two full-fledged hostels and three rented residential accommodations that are taken care by the university in Mumbai, separately for boys and girls. The students admitted are given preference on a first come first basis; and preference is given to students from outside of Mumbai to the hostel. The girls' hostels are provided with all the modern amenities, good nutritious food and purified drinking water facilities. Most of the rooms are triple sharing and have a separate washroom inside the room. The rooms are big and spacious with box beds. Each bed is provided with a study table, chair, and a personal almirah. The only odd thing is that despite being MBA hostel, it has a curfew.
You cannot get inside the hostel after 11PM unless you have a valid reason with enough proof.

If you attend this college, you'll find that it caters to an expensive, cushy, rich crowd. However, whether or not you actually learn anything will be up to you, as the classes can be quite lax. You'll need to maintain 805 attendance, which is compulsory.
On the bright side, the teachers are good and there are decent placement opportunities, especially when compared to other colleges. There are also various opportunities available, but keep in mind that money talks here, so be prepared to fend for yourself. The course itself is okay, much like most engineering colleges, but the labs and equipment are good and the infrastructure is solid.
Overall, if you choose to attend this college, you'll find that it's like any good engineering college with a higher fee. Just remember to stay focused and take advantage of the resources available to you. With hard work and dedication, you can succeed and thrive in this environment.
