NMIMS Mumbai Ranking 2025

I have given the preference order of the above-mentioned B Schools. However please remember this is based on my personal opinions and not any official figures

1st: NMIMS is one of the best schools in Mumbai with fewer fees and great specialization in Finance. Its distinguishing feature is its small batch size which is extremely beneficial for excellent placements. The companies that visit offer the best roles to their students mainly because of their credibility and strong alumni network.

2nd: SPJIMR too is located in Mumbai and is the second-best School after JBMINS. Its students intake is very good due to the strict selection process. The placements are at par with JBIMS but the fees are a bit higher. It's ranked in the top 3 in Operation and IT specialization in India.

3rd: One of the oldest institutes for MBA, IIFT is a good choice owing to its strong brand name and small batch size.

4th: SIBM Pune is a blend of everything; a Good campus, good corporate competition, hostel life, good infrastructure, faculty, and placement. It gives you an amazing MBA experience l.

5th: NMIMS Mumbai is great for MBA and is at par with SIBM. But I have ranked it the last owing to its high fees and larger batch size that requires a lot of competition during placements.

So the ranking is

NMIMS>SPJIMR>IIFT>SIBM Pune>NMIMS Mumbai

JBIMS' overall ranking on Google is impacted by its infrastructure, as the current building is a 1965 construction. However, the construction of a new state-of-the-art facility at Kalina is underway, which will improve JBIMS' ranking in terms of infrastructure.

In terms of return on investment, JBIMS stands out as you pay only 2 lakhs for the entire course and receive an average placement package of 18 LPA. This is a better return than many other top B-Schools, including some IIMs.

JBIMS boasts a strong alumni network, industry-expert faculty, and an ideal location, which are all factors that contribute to its success.

When comparing JBIMS to NMIMS, it can be said that JBIMS is a better choice, with a lower fee structure, a better return on investment, a strong alumni network, and a more experienced faculty. Additionally, JBIMS has a smaller batch size of 120 students, which makes it easier for the college to place its students in top companies.

NMIMS is deemed to be a University owning 17 specialized schools, more than 17000 students, and 750 plus full-time faculty members. The College offers a vast array of PG and Doctoral programs in Management studies such as MBA, E-MBA, PGDM, and Ph.D. along with a few UG, Diploma, and PG diploma programs. Known for its MBA/PGDM program, the NMIMS Mumbai is AICTE accredited and has been ranked 25th by NIRF in 2022 in the management category. NMIMS Mumbai programs are nationally and internationally accredited by NBA, NAAC, AMBA, SAQS, and the Bureau of Indian Standards. Some major highlights of this elite institute are as follows

NMAT is an easy paper compared to other entrance exams but the competition is tough as most students attempting NMAT want to get into NMIMS. So an overall good profile can increase your chances of admission.
