What Students Say
Likes
- I like the infrastructure of the classroom and also that the whole college is easy centralised which makes you feel comfortable in the humid weather of Mumbai... Also I like that the college is fully neat and clean and all the staff works very hard..
- I like the college canteen it is very much affordable and there are lots and lots of varieties for food ... Also the canteen service provides you with packing of your food if you want to take it at your home and have it so that's also plus point
- I like the faculty they are very much supportive humble and corporative in nature and comes from a very strong educational background...
Dislikes
- There is no campus life you will not get any sport to play there is no music room no dance room it's just a building and the floor is your college it's basically feels like a corporate job of 9 to 5
- Also I didn't like that though there are many varieties of food available in the canteen but all of them are not very good some of them taste like hell and you may also get a stomach ache after eating it. Also in drinks like nimbu pani it's just hell
- There is very less social interaction in the college people don't take initiative in interacting with you even the faculty they are very good but it feels like they are just coming to do their job teaching you and going out they don't try to interact
Course Curriculum Overview
There is no as such specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced me to choose this course I choose this course because I wanted to study and know about law .. this curriculum definitely prepares you for real world applications because after studying law you will be definitely a good knowledgeable person and you will be helping yourself your family members and others... And after studying law definitely your personality will be becoming more stronger than before... Right now I don't feel any area need improvement in the course curriculum definitely history teacher teaching methods needs to be improved.. the frequency and timing of exams along with the perspective on the difficulty level is okay I feel it is balanced...

Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees for 5 year integrated law program is 350,000 rupees for all the categories unreserved OBC EWS SC ST etc. Tuition fees is 200000 security deposit is 5000 library fees is 1000 development fees is 50000 rest comes under other fees. There are no registration fees or no admission fees but you have to appear for a paper called NLAT or you can take the admission on the basis of CLAT for which you have to pay rs 2000 each. There are no scholarships available there is financial aid available for somewhere around 2K -5k. There is no management quota available you have to either appear for in NLAT or on the basis of CLAT. The fees for other campuses will be much lower than Mumbai campus like 275000 for Navi Mumbai campus 250000 for Bengaluru campus and almost same for Hyderabad campus and 150000 for Chandigarh campus. There is no campus life in NMIMS Mumbai campus it feels like a corporate job of 9 to 5 so choose wisely before taking admission in this college. Thankyou.......

Admission
I applied in National Law Universities through CLAT and Delhi University through CUET and I also got a confirmation in DU Kalindi College but since I wanted to pursue law and was not able to clear CLAT with a good rank so I choose this college. Also the main reason to choose NMIMS Mumbai campus is because of the location advantage as it is situated in the main Mumbai Juhu vile Parle. The admission process is that you have to appear for the paper called NLAT. The eligibility is that you have to score at least 55% to 60% in your class 12th. Exams accepted by NMIMS is CLAT for law. The most preferred exam by the students is CLAT. To get Mumbai campus through NLAT you have to at least secured a rank between 1-500. CLAT cut offs are not known. The fee to register yourself for NLAT is 2000 rupees. The paper is held online and you have to go to centre to write the paper.
Faculty
There are very good amount of faculty and also very good amount of students in the college the student faculty relationship is good like the faculty is very much approachable if you try to they don't say no to anything. Like Priya ma'am of torts she is very humble and intelligent teacher saraniya ma'am of ips she is very polite and also gain very intelligent I like these two very much because they are teaching style is very much interesting they try to teach with interesting examples. There is a sir for history subject he is very polite humble in nature but I don't like his teaching style because it becomes very boring while he is teaching. There are mid sems and final exams and difficulty of the exam depends upon the student because law as a subject needs practice if a student is reading and trying to understand the points he or she can clear the exam very easily otherwise it becomes very tough to clear the exam because law needs reading habit, practicing case laws and writing....!
