More interactive and concepts related to ai , data analytics can be included . We have ample time between exams to prepare difficulty is a bit hard
Internships Opportunities
Internship is compulsory in both 1st and 2nd year for students where 1st year students do it in Ngo and second year in corporate. College provides us with amazing internship opportunities . For eg Goldman sachs 20k stipend TribeVibe 10k stipend
Placement Experience
campus placements are really good better than most bba colleges , a student can get placed for around 4L-15L depending upon his gpa and other skills . Companies like pwc, deloitte , goldman sachs and larsen &turbo come in college for placements. Average CTC is around 6LPA where is highest package is around 15LPA. My plans after getting this degree is getting 2 years of work experience then go to abroad for my mba in finance field
Fees and Financial Aid
i paid around 3,50,000 a year which rounds upto around 10.5 L for a 3 years course whereas according to the new education policy if you want honours degree u will have to pay for 4 years also nmims increase there fees 10-15 percent every year . registration fees include 2000 approx cost for the noat plus a 6k deposit apart from that re exams and re valuation in end sem exams cost around 1500-2000. There is no such distinguishing factor between sc st or general
Campus Life
Few of the famous and most popular clubs in nmims are vaayu montage cic and sports club whereas there are around 15-20 clubs in the college . Me myself being a head in Vaayu gave me a lot of exposure . Library is really good having a variety of books and resources. Sports club is working efficiently and nmims promotes sports a lot . Srf runs cleanliness drives blood donation camps and they make a huge difference making greater impact towards the society and students
Admission
i applied to symbiosis , du ,ip but choose nmims as it had a better placement record , reputation and rankings plus the real world corporate exposure. I didn't got into christ as my entrance test was not that good . We have to appear for npat which the test for ug courses at nmims get a rank upto 2000 can get you into nmims
Faculty
faculties are honestly very experienced and well knowledgeable the ratio will be around 20:1 whereas all of them have good experience and have worked in big firms and institutions before . Faculties i like are Mr roger dmello and sunny oswal. Exams are quite tough there is 50 mark internal that include projects presentation and a 20 mark mid term test and rest is a 50 mark end sem exam
Night Life
Mumbai being mumbai has a very crazy fun nightlife where gyms cafeterias library are accessible and are even present in the college campus . Hostels there are mostly private having a curfew time of 12 pm. Some famous hangout places can be prithvi cafe juhu beach silver beach Dolally taproom
