The entrance exam will be conducted on December 09, 2024, and the interview on December 10, 2024. The tentative date for the announcement of the result is December 13, 2024.
DAIICT Admission 2024 is ongoing. DAIICT Gandhinagar offers admission to courses like B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc, M.Des and PhD. Admission to these courses is entirely entrance-based. DAIICT B.Tech Admission 2024
DAIICT Admission to the B.Tech program is done based on a valid score in JEE-Main under the All India Category. For Gujarat Category, it accepts GUJCET. The institute also offers B.Tech Admission under NRI & Foreign National (DAFS) Category. DAIICT offers B.Tech in three different specializations –Information and Communication Technology, Mathematics and Computing & Electronics and VLSI Design. Apart from this, the institute also offers a B.Tech (Hons.) in ICT with a minor in Computational Science. DAIICT B.Tech tuition fee is INR 1,50,000 Per Semester. The institute charges INR 2500 Per Semester as a registration fee for B.Tech program.
DAIICT B.Tech Eligibility
All India Category
- Students must have passed the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent.
- The candidate must have passed in final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics and any one of Chemistry/Bio-technology/Computer Science/Biology.
- Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 01 October 1999 are eligible.
- A provisional admission will be granted to candidates appearing in the qualifying examination. However, candidates who are offered provisional admission will be required to the proof of having passed 10+2 or equivalent by October 30, 2024, failing which the provisional admission will stand cancelled.
Gujarat Category
- Students must have passed the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent. Seats will be filled as per the guidelines of ACPC (Admission Committee for Professional Courses).
Foreign and NRI Students (DAFS) category
- Categories to be considered for non-resident Indians include Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card holders, Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) Card Holders.
- Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 01 October 1999 are eligible to apply.
- XII or equivalent from any education system as recognized by the Association of Indian University (AIU), New Delhi in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Computer Science/Biotechnology/ Biology.
- If grades are awarded, the candidate must have secured a minimum GPA of 6 on a 10-point scale. In case of marks, 60% aggregate in the qualifying examination is required.

- Admission will be strictly based on JEE-Main 2024 Rank. In order of their merit in JEE-Main 2024, short-listed candidates will be offered admission (confirmed/waitlisted).
Gujarat Category:
- Admission will be based on valid scores in GUJCET.
NRI/FN Category:
- SAT score with a minimum score of 1068. OR All India Rank of Joint Entrance Examination 2024 (JEE-2024) Main with a minimum score of 75 percentile.

DAIICT offers a two-year M.Tech program in various specializations which include Machine Learning (ML), Software Systems (SS), VLSI and Embedded Systems (VLSI & ES) & Wireless Communication and Signal Processing. The basic selection criteria for M.Tech at DAIICT is as follows:
- For GATE-Qualified candidates: A merit list for admission will be prepared based on GATE scores followed by a counseling. Counseling for allotment of specialization will be done online.

DAIICT M.Sc Admission 2024
DAIICT offers M.Sc in specializations such as Information Technology, Data Science & Agriculture Analytics. To be eligible for DAIICT M.Sc Admission, a candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream with 60% aggregate marks. DAIICT charges INR 65,000 to INR 1,37,000 Per Semester depending on the specialization taken with INR 2500 Per Semester as a registration fee.

- 60% aggregate in Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in any stream.
- Candidates appearing in their final Degree examination and expecting to complete it by July 2024 may also apply. However, the final admission will be obtained based on an aggregate of 60% marks.

DAIICT M.Des Admission 2024
DAIICT offers 2 Year M.Des program in Communication Design. A Bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of 60% or its equivalent is mandatory for DAIICT M.Des Admission. The total seat intake for M.Des program at DAIICT is 20. DAIICT charges INR 1,04,000 Per Semester with INR 2500 Per Semester as a registration fee.
DAIICT M.Des Eligibility
- A bachelor’s degree with 55% aggregate in the relevant field. (Design, Science, Engineering, Technology, Humanities, Social Sciences, Fine Arts, Applied Arts and Performing Arts)
- Candidates with professional diplomas from institutions like NID, NIFT, CEPT and Srishti School of Art and Design are also eligible.
- There is no age limit applicable to this program.
DAIICT M.Des Selection Criteria
- Candidates with a valid CEED score will be selected for interview if they have qualified Part A and have obtained a minimum of 25 marks in Part B.
- Candidates for this program without a valid CEED score will be selected for interview through a Design Aptitude Test (DAT) to be conducted through online proctored Test.
- The final selection will be based on the combined scores attained in the DAT and the interview. The DAT will constitute 60%, and the interview 40% of the overall marks assigned to the admission test.
DAIICT Ph.D Admission 2024
DAIICT offers Ph.D. in 2 modes i.e Regular & Part-Time and Rolling. The admission for Ph.D. (Regular) is conducted twice a year, once before Autumn semester (July) and the other in the Winter semester (December). Entrance exams accepted include NET, JRF, DST Inspire, PM scholarship, or Visvesvaraya PhD scheme.

- For ICT and Related Domains: M.Tech/M.C.A/M.Sc/M.Phil/B.Tech or equivalent degree in ICT/ CS/ EC/ IT/ EE/ IN/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Physics/ Bio-informatics/ Electronics or other appropriate disciplines with 60% marks

DAIICT Admission Process 2024
DAIICT admissions to B.Tech program under the All India Category is done on the basis of valid marks in JEE Mains entrance exams. For admission to the DA-IICT M.Tech program, the candidate can seek admission either through a GATE score or on the basis of scores obtained in the qualifying degree and the interview.
DAIICT B.Tech Admission 2024: Candidates must fill out the application form online by paying a non-refundable application fee of INR 1770 (INR 1500 plus GST 18%). Based on the All India Rank of Joint Entrance Examination 2024 (JEE-2024) Main, candidates will be shortlisted and offered admission (confirmed/waitlisted) in order of their merit. The institute will communicate with students via mail if a student gets shortlisted. After that, the aspirant will be called for counseling and must appear with all the necessary documents.
DAIICT M.Tech Admission 2024: Interested candidates have to fill out a non-refundable online application for INR 1770. A merit list will be prepared for GATE-Qualified candidates followed by online counselling. Likes
- The first thing i liked about DAIICT, is of course it's coding competitive environment. There is no lack of coding talent here.
- The second thing I liked is the events. There is always an event going in background which helps you engage in activities other than the curriculum
Dislikes
- The first thing I disliked is that there is no attached bathroom with the room. As per the name of the college in the country
- Also DAIICT has a slightly hectic and challenging curriculum. It definitely keeps you super busy everytime.
Admission:
I generally didn't look up to many colleges. I personally liked the course ICT and I want to build up my career in this course itself. This is because ICT is the combination of IT+CS+ECE. Like the best combination, a computer engineering enthusiast can opt for. Therefore there were only two colleges I preffered - DAIICT and PDEU. Although I was sure that my first preference is DAIICT and luckily I got admission to my dream institute.
Likes
- Student culture is great. Lots of acitivities on campus. Junior senior relations are very helpful and genuine.
- College festivals. Synapse, i.Fest, Tarang and Concours have really uplifted the image of DAIICT in Gujarat.
Dislikes
- Curriculum is very strict. The courses taught by the professors sometimes are too advanced and complex to understand.
- It is extremely difficult to get/maintain 8+ GPA as faculties are really strict while submitting grades.
Admission:
At 12.7k AIR in JEE '21 , I was getting SVNIT ECE, IIIT Gwalior 5 year course and NIT Patna CSE. Chose this because of the proximity and good placements statistics. Got rejection from IIIT B, my dream college. Couldn't make it because the cutoff shot high that year. Admission process is just submitting your JEE Score and apply through their website. Cutoff is mostly 15k JEE Main Rank for ICT, 10k for CS and 13k for MNC.

- We have quite good placement stats that encourages students to stay positive and keeps them motivated among studies
- We have good peers and great competition that pushes us to keep upskilling ourselves
Dislikes
- Our grading policy is quite strict. Very difficult to maintain good cgpa
- Professors are rigid in nature most of them are above 50+ age wise.
Admission:
I took admission through JEE exam score. I had an option to take admission in IIIT lucknow and nit nagpur. I got computer science course in both the colleges. But I chose Daiict because it has very good alumini connectio, good food and hostel facilities, no restriction on hostel premises.

- I didn't like the college's 70% attendance policy
- I didn't like the gender ratio of the college
Admission:
I had applied for SVNIT Surat for the computer science branch, but I didn't get admission because of my rank. I got sit into electronics branch, but I prefer DAIICT above SVNIT because of the placements and campus

- The culture of DA-IICT is what makes it the best college in Gujarat. The students are so competitive in terms of academics or in terms of the placements
Admission:
The admission is on the basis of the rank of the student in ACPC and JEE. The rank should be in top 150 students in ACPC and top 14000 students in JEE to get admission in DAIICT. The admission process in my case was smooth enough to ensure everything.

- Placements of this college is very impressive that is my first preference to choose this college
- Coding culture of this college is also very very good and competitive.

- Academics are very tough compare to other colleges.

- Some courses which are in core are booring

The admisson process was like 250 seats for gujarat students and 125 seats for other states/NRI students. The Gujarat state students admission was from acpc which consists of gujcet & 12th board while for other states student they had the jee mains or advance criteria. For backward classes like obc , st, sc there are reserved seats dont know the exact number. So for students entering vua acpc they will have pay admission fee 2500 from acpc portal or the link gor in mail for others no idea

A Bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of 60% or its equivalent, as per the norms set by the Degree granting Institute/University in Agriculture and allied sciences, Environmental Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology... First, you need to give an exam like an aptitude test and then the best 100 students got an offer for appearing in an interview and after the interview process 30 students intake You can find the form on the official daiict website No there is not reservation benefits available Overall the admission process is good

I am in the Agriculture analytics course now pursuing an M.sc degree at this DAIICT college. it's a very amazing college and the most beautiful thinking is its nature-friendly campus. facility of hostel for both boys and girls are very good and for food here the food court is available. for eligibality for perticular this agriculture analytics cource its not such criteria any background like biology or math both are apply for this cource. application form are find on website ( daiict.ac.in) and mostly application open on month of may-jun. for apply this cource application fees around 1400-1600 no here not any reservation benefits addmition based on marit base in admition process first you apply a for this cource and pay aplication fee than after conduct one exam , after that if you are crack those exam it takes one interview and than afeter final seleced candidat list are out this cource is multi institute cource daiict(gandhinagar), Anand agriculture university (anand), and IIRS daheradun

Admission:
For ICT Honours with Minors in computational science course, the cutoff for JEE Main is around 8500 AIR and for the GUJCET exam, the cutoff is around a rank of 60 out of 40,000 students. For application through JEE i.e. All India Category, you need to fill up the form available on the online portal of the college itself. And for admission through ACPC i.e. GujCET, you need to register on the ACPC site. The admission process is smooth and fast.

Is it possible to get direct admission in DAIICT gandhi nagar with 58% of marks in 12th board..?
It is unclear as to what direct admission means. If you mean without JEE Main, then I don’t think it’s possible. DAIICT admission is done on the basis of scores in JEE Main or GUJCET. The admission process is conducted on two levels -
- All India Level: JEE Main Scores
- Gujarat State Level: For the Gujarat category, the candidates have to apply through ACPC.
As far as the 12th percentage is concerned, I don’t think there is any fixed percentage so you might get admission with 58% marks.
