Course Curriculum Overview

3

I choose this course so that I can get knowledge of software and hardware field. This helping me in clearing out my mind set and allow me to choose a field in which I would like to grow and develop my interests. The course is outdated and need to be improved by giving more exposure in practical terms. 3 exams every semester.

Badminton court, table tennis court, football basketball vollyball court are present in the campus. Synapse (cultural fest) held in Feb. I-fest (tech fest) held in Nov. There are 35+ student clubs.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel is twin sharing and corridor is cleaned regularly. Canteen food is decent Hostel is compulsory for B-tech students and it's fee is collected with academic fees. 25000 is semister fees of hostel, making it really affordable.

Admission

In the front section I mentioned I got BITs Hyderabad, BITs mersa, Nirma and other colleges below the ranking of mine. I choose this college so as to stay near home town and it had very good placements compared to others. While BITs Hyderabad is better than DAIICT, it is too costly. I got rejected from IITs as my JEE Adv rank was 22k and you need 5k for a really good IIT with your preferred choice. Admission in DAIICT is via JEE main or ACPC. Directly via a section of DAIICT's private website.

Faculty

4

All prof have PHD degree. They have immense knowledge in their fields, sometimes it's hard to learn from a particular prof depending on his teaching skills. Course is not updated. Difficulty level is set by prof. some are really difficult but then evaluation is relative. Most of the students pass only about 5% fail in a particular course.

Night Life

3

You can't leave or enter the campus between 12 at night to 6 in the morning. Gym and all sports facilities are shut during this period. Library closed at 10. To hang out you can roam in the campus, play cards or leave the campus before 12 and come directly in the morning. The locality is very safe.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well-strutured and covers fundamental concepts in a clear and systematic manner. As a first-semester student I found the subjects helpful in building a strong base for futher studies. The syllabus balances theory with practical exposure which helps in understanding real-worls applications.Faculty members explain concept clearly, through adding more hands-on projects and industry-oriented topics would make the curriculum even better.Overall the curriculum is relevent comprehensive and suitable for beginners but it can be improved with more practical sessions and updated content aligned with current industry trends.

Placement Experience:

Placement in this college is quite good and it also depends on the grades of the students. Highest package goes to 14 lakhs per annum and the average package goes to 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. As the students enter into their 7th semester the placement process gets started and the students will go into th selected companies in their 8th semester and if the worked well their they can also get PPO which means that they can do their job for permanent time. Percentage of the students last time who got placed in big MNCs company goes to 87 percent and the rest students got their placement in some small company. My plan after my b tech degree is to get higher studies in Mtech by score a good mark in the GATE exam which is going to be held in February month.
