- The best thing in darshan university computer engineering is their syllabus, they design and update it every single year and it is highly in demand in market.
- Another good thing is their faculty members which are very experts and friendly also.
- Another I can say is good infrastructure and laboratories, i mean they have very fast computers and very advanced labs.
Dislikes
- When I was studying there is network issue in the campus but I heard that right now it is fixed so not much issue now.
- The weekly schedule was very tight so sometime it feels like school
- Nothing much because all the other aspects were good though.
Course Curriculum Overview
As per the my experience the, in the Computer engineering in darshan university 80 to 85 percentage syllabus is really important for the IT industry rest are the subjects like environment and indian constitution and all that which are just passing and not that much important but other ones are really important for the students and can understand the importance when student goes into the market.
Fees and Financial Aid
When I was studied the tution fees was 41000 per semester and the other fee like examination and all was 1500, so I was paying 42500 per semester and it is increasing year by year, but the plus point is that there is no extra fees rather then these, yes if you want to use the college bus transportation then you need to pay the fees for the transportation, which differ city to city.
Campus Life
As per me the college life was not so much interesting like showing in the movies, yes but the events and festival celebrations are there but not at that much big levels as in the other colleges , and yes there are clubs also like music club, dance club, astronaut club etc .. and much more but I was not interested in all that so not have that much idea about it. But I remember that there was an event on every Saturday in college.
Admission
See, that my decision was final that i want to get admission in Computer engineering and I applied in only 2 colleges first one was nirma University, Ahmedabad in which I was rejected and the other one is darshan university,because I am living in morbi and the best college for the study and environment in rajkot is darshan university so once I get the message that I cannot get admission in nirma University i directly contact the darshan university, And the admission process is simple that you can apply through ACPC and also you can directly visit to the college, if your ranks or grades are more than the college cutoffs you can get the admission.
Faculty
I cannot say directly faculty to student ratio, but it was approax 1 faculty per 20 students , and the behaviour of the faculties are very good, I mean they were not just trying to complete the syllabus, every time they bring something new something unique to the table so the students can get the clear picture of the respective subject, especially Our favourite arjun bala sir ,i mean none student can get bored in his lectures.
Night Life
Honestly, i didn't spent any night in my college , i regularly come to home at 3 to 4 PM and 1 or 2 times I was there in college there is hackathon and some event so I cannot get outside the college so I have not much idea about nightlife but yes I heard that there is all the facilities opened in college hostel.
