Likes

Faculties are very supportive and good in nature. faculties are very well qualified and mastered in their domain.
Teaching Assistant concept is really good and impressive
Very good campus placement opportunities with good packages.

Dislikes

Canteen which not bad but average food quality.
Not Technical events which doesn't occur to frequent
Overall positive environment so no negative points

Course Curriculum Overview

Course and curriculum is designed industry oriented and very well structured. University upgrades curriculum as per industry requirements. The good concept is practical learning approach rather than only stick to old theory type approaches

Internships Opportunities

From semester 7 onwards, campus placement starts so after joining the company students get oppertunity for internship within the company. first training phase is internship and then company provides full time employment.

Placement Experience

Placements are very good. from semester 6, university arranges placement preparation sessions and different test to get students ready for placements and gain experience on how the campus placement drive works. More than 100+ company visits for placements with ratio above 90% and average package of placement between 3.5 LPA to 4.5 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees per year - 1,20,000 complete fees, no any kind of hidden fees. In current year fees are increased. Same fees for all the students, no bias on student's result. which is very good positive point. No scholarship to any students from the univeristy. provides required documents (if required)

Campus Life

University's main focuses on academics and placements rather than festival celebrations, still celebrates major festival like Holi, Dipawali, Krushna Janama etc. Library availabe for monday to saturday with all required books and journals.

Hostel Facilities

University campus has in-campus hostel facility with each room shared between 3 students. Room has individual study table and cup-board for each student within the room itself. Meal Quality is average. and menu gets change on weekly basis. Registration for hostel is completed through administration department.

Hostel Fee: INR 110000 per year

Admission

As i have applied through ACPC process, i got admission through online process of ACPC. University has good placements records, with good faculties and better infrastructure, so applied for this college.

Faculty

Faculty student ratio is 25 to 1 (near around, don't know exact). Faculties are very well qualified and experienced. each faculty has minimum masters completed. Very much supportive and Nice behivour from faculty. also helps in each and every prespective

Night Life

University closes on 5 PM on working days so no cageterias and library available after closing time. Hostel is available within the campus so students can hangout in campus till 10 PM. after that no any students allowed to stay in campus on late-night

Likes

I like the technique of teaching and sharing the information with others and high tech laboratories
Advanced Computer and classroom and library
Campus are very beautiful and adventurous they have facilities for outside students providing bus service

Dislikes

Nothing for hate but the same thing like mess food are average
And Here Everyone Wants To Makes Friends But Not anyone believes
My Experience Is Too Good But Food Problems of Mess Is My First priority

PDEU , a Sweet n' Sour experience

Likes

The campus is really well built and has good classrooms with air conditioners in every class ensuring student comfort.in
Decent facilities for extra curricular activities like sports and metro connectivity as well.

Dislikes

Same old rigid curriculum that is still being taught in Tier 3 engineering colleges through out the country
Some of the faculty even though they may be knowledgeable themselves, fail to deliver their thoughts in an efficient way to the students
Attendance criteria is relatively strict at around 80% on paper but you can still do with 70+ percentage.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 7th Semester and companies start visiting at that time. The no. of companies that visit are around 30+ and the highest package offered last time was around 25+ LPA. The average package is 7-8LPA. Some of the companies that visit are Accenture,TCS, Infosys, JP Morgan(students got placed from a Hackathon)

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

My Life at Parul University as a computer science student

Likes

The collage infrastructure is really good and vibrant, it is well developed.
Campus life is really good, there are food courts, playground, libraries avaliable.
The whole campus has wifi avaliable, they've got atm too.

Dislikes

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,

all faculty member is good give the best lecture.it is government college so all faculty come in the college
in the LD college placement is super till now because most of company same as other private college
infrastrure is quite good here all side greenary and animals all other.and many social activity happend

Dislikes

in the college many class room is old fashion like feel like you stay in the village.

here till now i think better placement so my opinion is that it is the government college and also provide the place ments while other college take fees and also placed same company with same package . acordin to me it is quite good placement is provide

IIT Gandhinagar from the eyes of a First Year

Likes

The Sports Complex is a major highlight of IIT Gandhinagar.
The Campus Amenities are top notch and it is a fully green Campus.
Faculties are Expert in their Respective Fields and teach very well.

Dislikes

The Course Load is very High and you will get very less free Time.
The Exams are quite challenging and you have to keep thinking out of the box.
Some lectures such as World Civilization and Cultures are very boring.

Placement Experience:

Placements this year have become better. 4th Years are sitting for Placements right now. Top companies include Infosys, Oracle, De Shaw, Nvidia, etc. All Data is available in the Placement Report which is available on the IIT Gandhinagar Website. Till May 4, 2024 69 % Students have been placed. I plan to go for a masters after my degree.

the discipline of VVPEC and strictness towards academic studies , ensures focused environment
the college encourages students through substantial scholarship of 25,000 INR for top student in each class to motivate.
well-equiped library facilities provide resources for research and learning

Dislikes

lack of emphasis on sports initiatives , less opportunities for physical activity and team spirit.
stringent policies limiting cultural events and less vibrancy in campus lifestyle
very limited option in canteen and limited space to hangout with friends .

Placement Experience:

from semester 6th , placements drive is begun talking about my course , Biotechnology engineering , there was NO PLACEMENT DRIVES. But our hod will definetly help in getting great jobs according to your requirement. And help in GATE exam preparation is very minimal , so one shall prepare it by themselves.

The campus life is so good and there are many clubs
As the faculty of technology and engineering MSU is best colleges so good placement opportunities
Infrastructure is also good labs are well maintained

Dislikes

Benches are very old and some are very poor for sitting it
Very shoretst ground as compared to other prestigious collage and also in other faculties
And i personally feel, recess time is so small period, students can not manage

The faculty of technology and engineering maharaja sayajiro University of Baroda is Gujarat renowned University of Gujarat the facilities provided by faculty are so good . There is credit system and every year there are 2 semester exam Students should be well prepared.

Darshan University is best for Education

I applied for VVP engineering college,Rajkot and Marwadi University,Rajkot other than Darshan University. I took admission in B.Tech after completed my diploma in computer enigineering. Admission Process : If you completed course witout any backlog than you are eligible for next course admission. If you have very good CPI in overall result than you have more chances to got selected in higher colleges. Every college has it's specific cutoff and seats. If your CPI don't matches cutoff criteria you can't got selected. First you need to register in ACPC site and after that you need to fill details that are required for admission. Then you need to choose colleges between choose limits. Then mock round start .Mock round is trial round if got selected in specific college in mock round you can not take admission to that college. After mock round first round starts. If you got collge in first round theen you can cnfirm that college and pay required fees to ACPC or you can cancel it and go for next round. I choose 3 colleges for my admission. 1.Marwadi University 2.Darshan University 3.VVP College I got selected in Marwadi University in a mock round. So visited Marwadi University but I don't like the culture of it. I also visited VVP College but they have GTU and they have an old syllabus which don't fulfill real-time industry requirements. So I changed the college sequence. I rearranged my choices. 1.Darshan University 2.VVP Coollege 3.Marwadi University I arranged Darshan University at first choice.
