good experience at gsv

As iam a ece btech 1st yr student... Till now i have just completed my 1st sem...and upto now my experience is good actually great. curriculum is very impressive...we get real world examples.. schedule of ece students are some what more engaging than other branches.

Till now in first sem we didnt get to know about the internship that info but from our seniors we got that after 1st yr may be we having a compulsory intern at govt sector offered by various railways. we can also apply off campus interns by ourselves if we are interested,

our college is still growing,so our expectation should be according to that but not as nits and iits...our college is improving...upto know may be 4-5 lpa is average but i hope so ..that upto our batch geta graduate it will be get improved.

TUITION FEE : 1,53,100 CAUTION DEPOSIT (refundable): 10,000 ADMISSION FEE(one time fee):2,000 REGISTRATION FEE: 1,000 CAMPUS FACILITIY CHARGES:5,000 HOSTEL CHARGES(double sharing)(A): 43,600 HOSTEL CHARGES(triple sharing)(B): 29,050 MESS FEE:40,000 STUDENT BENEVOLENT FUND:500 ELECTRICITY CHARGES:6,000 TOTAL ANNUAL FEE(A): 2,61,200 TOTAL ANNUAL FEE(B): 2,46,650 above i have mentioned complete breakdown of fees btech(2025-2026)batch.the fees is generally paid semisterwise,there is no sc/st fees concession or waivement but the concession is given on the basis of income, fee concession is provided merit based and even various companies too offer concession every year to the students.you will completely get to know about these easily by after getting into the college.

There are many clubs in our college but not that level of iits scene ya but quite impressive...as in past days our college strength was not that , but from our batch it improved so clubs are also getting improved year by year...in november we had cultural fest (AGNEE) we enjoyed a lot.

i stay in hostel provided by the college. for girls it is double shared rooms with attached washrooms and ac too...ya i know at start u wont belive but its true i too was doubting before joining...hostel facities are extra ordinary compared to other college hostels of engineering.food quality is also good..not that perfect but better than other ones.

frankly speaking my jee score was not that impressive and i was getting nits in jammu and in eastern states.. as iam from south india i was comfortable to move completely to those states..so i filled bits mesra nit ranchi and gsv as priorities in other ones i was getting mech and civil...but in this i got ece so i chose this...even because of fees...because at this fees our college is providing a great facilties for us.

In our college faculty to student ratio is quite good. even faculty are approachable. we have mid sem and end sem and even surprise test based on faculty. for every exam like before mid sem and end sem we get a feedback form to be filled by students for faculty and their teaching,and interaction sessions in which our issues can be easily solved.

our college gati shakti vishwavidyalay is in vadodara. vadodara is a very great place to explore..but its so sad that till now we didnt explored it ...as before i mention ece students are mostly involved in classes still we make time to hang out...for me a walk in our green and calm campus itself so relaxing. hostel night timings are 10:30 pm .
