Course Curriculum Overview

4

Some of course are relevant but some of them are not relevant. But this depend from person to person as it's a railway college so every year we have a IRSE (introduction to rail system engineering) course and DT(design thinking), see for some irse is a important course for example for mechanical and civil branch but most of the aids student don't feel good about course.

Placement Experience

3

We have low average package current date but it will grow 3x in next four years. But stats about number of students placed are high than even IIT Bombay. For civil engineering we 100% placement record and for ECE we have 92+ % placement record.

Fees and Financial Aid

Hi, my name is Rishi and I am from Gati Shakti vishwavidyalaya, Currently in first year. I have passed my 10th from UP from cbse board and similarly for 12th (i.e. cbse broad from UP). I have attempted jee 4 times first two times during 12th and other two during drop year. My highest percentile was 94.00 and lowest percentile was 87.something. I have taken admission in GSV through jossa and csab counselling. At first in jossa I got civil and later in first round of csab my seat get converted to AIDS.

Campus Life

3

In GSV due to the strict academic students do have a great campus life other than that students enjoy a lot in forest area or nearby places. Clubs are sometimes that keep working 24*7. Here clubs are so active that even at the time of exams we have some or the other event going on .But clubs are not provided proper funding or infrastructure.

Hostel Facilities

4

Talking about hostel room ,it is your one the biggest flex as here every room have attached combined washroom and bathroom. And every room have one air conditioner which can be operated personally. But food quality is really bad for first year boys for other students food quality is decent. And for first year boys , they are accomodated outside of college in private hostel where not only food but water is also not good . ...we have deal with hard water. Which causes typhoid and hair fall.

Admission

I belong to a general category so I don't have large number of good options with 94 percentile. Also choosing the college task became easier because of branch and fees. And other than that I always wanted to move out of my state and take new experiences. That's why I choose GSV over other colleges.

Faculty

3

In GSV there are two types of faculty one permanent and other visiting faculty. Faculty to students ratio can categorised as good. We have good faculty to students relationship. Talking about qualification most of the faculty have done there PhD from IIT and NIT. Even visiting faculty are one who expert in their field. The only drawback is AVIATION ENGINEERING do not have any permanent faculty till date ...which is going to solve soon

Night Life

3

We don't have a great night campus life as boys and girls both have curfew timing for night. But hostel are provided with proper common area with large accommodation space. We don't have gym and cafeteria in campus. And library closes by 7-8 p.m..

Placement was not good at all!. There are only internships provided and only those students can archive the good placement who have good relations with our principal. This this was litterly not good at all. The amount of internship was unpaid and some are 5k per month!.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well-strutured and covers fundamental concepts in a clear and systematic manner. As a first-semester student I found the subjects helpful in building a strong base for futher studies. The syllabus balances theory with practical exposure which helps in understanding real-worls applications.Faculty members explain concept clearly, through adding more hands-on projects and industry-oriented topics would make the curriculum even better.Overall the curriculum is relevent comprehensive and suitable for beginners but it can be improved with more practical sessions and updated content aligned with current industry trends.

Placement Experience:

Placement in this college is quite good and it also depends on the grades of the students. Highest package goes to 14 lakhs per annum and the average package goes to 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. As the students enter into their 7th semester the placement process gets started and the students will go into th selected companies in their 8th semester and if the worked well their they can also get PPO which means that they can do their job for permanent time. Percentage of the students last time who got placed in big MNCs company goes to 87 percent and the rest students got their placement in some small company. My plan after my b tech degree is to get higher studies in Mtech by score a good mark in the GATE exam which is going to be held in February month.
