Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya Placement

Students are eligible to enroll in placement facilities from their 5th semester which happens to be in the third year. The college aims to provide placement for every student in the final year. Companies like Reliance telecommunication and RR cable, Axis Bank, Coca Cola, visit the campus. There was more than 80% placement for the 2019 batch.

The minimum stipend being offered during internships is around INR 9,000 to 12,000 per month.

All you need to know before becoming a KSVian

Admission:

I hadn't applied to any other college because of my low grades. And also because this college has the minimum fees for this course than the others offering the same course. This college was chosen by my father and I had no say in it whatsoever. If it was chosen by me, I would've been to Gujarat University because of its low fees structure and quality education. But the minimum result requirement was >80% to get in, that's why couldn't move ahead. The admission process of KSV is pretty simple. You need your 10th/12th marksheet, the affidavit if you have taken a gap year and aadhaar proof for ID verification, that's it. There is no criteria for admission here.

Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya (KSV), Gandhinagar, offers a Ph.D. program in Social Work. This full-time doctoral program is designed for candidates aiming to pursue advanced research in the field of social work. You must have done a Master’s degree in Social Work or a related discipline with at least 55% aggregate marks (or 50% for SC/ST candidates). Applicants must appear for a Ph.D. entrance exam conducted by KSV. Candidates with valid NET/SET/JRF scores or an M.Phil. (admitted via entrance test) may be exempted. Shortlisted candidates will undergo an interview conducted by the Research Degree Committee (RDC). Application forms are available on the official KSV website.

For admission in both M.Phil and PhD, the candidates need to go through an entrance test conducted by KSV and the minimum passing marks is 50%. The candidates who clear the entrance test and get selected on basis of merit have to go through an interview conducted by Subject Experts (RDC) for final admission.

The following candidates who meet the below points are exempted from the entrance test of Ph.D:

  • Candidate who appeared in the latest GATE and have scored more than 75%.
