- The last date to apply for PhD admission at Gujarat University through GCAS portal is extended till November 11, 2024. The last date for submission of documents and payment of fees can be done between November 7-15, 2024.
- GCAS has announced the schedule for LLB admissions for the academic year 2024-25. The applications for round 2 will be collected on October 17 & 18, 2024, and the merit list will be released on October 19, 2024.

Gujarat University Admission
Gujarat University admissions are merit based for most of the UG and PG courses. The university also takes admission through national-level tests such as NEET, CMAT, GATE for BDS, MBA, and M.Tech programs. From the academic year 2024-25, Gujarat University admission 2024 for all UG and PG programs based on merit will be done through Gujarat Common Admission Services (GCAS), a common admission portal launched by the state government. The entire admission process is as follows:
Step 1: Registration on the GCAS Portal
Candidates seeking admission to UG and PG programs at Gujarat University and its affiliated colleges must register online on the GCAS portal at gcas.gujgov.edu.in.
- For the initial registration, students will have to fill in their name, date of birth as per HSC Marksheet, mobile, and email id.
- After the initial registration, students can login using their email id and password created during initial registration. After that, fill all the personal and academic details as per the Marksheet, Category Certificate, and upload required documents:
- Applicant must have latest Photo and Signature with maximum size of 50 K.B
- (JPG/JPEG Format).
- Applicant must have below documents with maximum size of 200 K.B. for
- complete application fill-up.
- All Mark-sheets of Qualifying Exam (If Original Mark-sheet is not
- available, you can upload copy of online mark-sheet)
- School Leaving Certificate(Optional)
- Caste Certificate (If Applicable)
- Non-Creamy Layer Certificate of Valid Period (If Applicable )
- Differently Abled Certificate (If Applicable)
- EWS Certificate (If Applicable)
- After uploading all the documents, candidates must fill college, program, and medium of study choices of Gujarat University from the given list on the website.
- After verifying all the details, press lock button and submit the application form by paying a registration fee of INR 300.
Step 2: Preference filling/Rearrange of your choices
Candidates who have selected college/program/courses of Gujarat University, must log-in with your credential and select GU preference portal and rearrange choices of your preferences of admission based on your merit and category on a prescribed date/period. (Those who are not rearranging choices as per their preferences, their choices will be considered as per data provided by GCAS portal for admission allotment).
Step 3: Provisional Admission Offer
Gujarat University will release provisional admission offer letter to candidates based on marks secured in the qualifying, availability of seats, and choices for colleges and programs filled during registration. Students can download the admission offer letter through GCAS portal. Among the respective Course(Program), students can only download one offer letter for which they’ve applied for.
Step 4: Reporting to the College
After downloading the admission offer letter, students must report to the respective college with all the original documents as well as copies and the Admission Offer Letter of the offered college. Candidates from other than Gujarat State are required to obtain a Provisional Eligibility Certificate (PEC) from the Gujarat University.
Step 5: Document Verification and Admission
The college will verify all original documents and marksheets of the student. If all documents and mark-sheets match and found correct with filled details and merit rank, the candidate will be offered admission after receiving the payment of admission fees.
Gujarat University Result
Gujarat University declares semester-wise results for each course online on its ‘Result Portal’. Students who have appeared for UG, PG, and other examinations held on the campus ground can check their result status by visiting the university website. After the result declaration, Gujarat University also provides the option of reassessment in case any student is not satisfied with the marks in any exam.

Gujarat University Scholarships
SHODH (system of developing high-quality research)
This scholarship is provided by Gujarat University to financially support students conducting qualitative research. Full-time research scholars receive funding under this program, which amounts to INR 15,000 per month.
Additionally, the University provides financial aid for post secondary education for students who are part of the Mukhymantri Yuva Swavlamban Yojana. Gujarat University scholarships are also provided to the members of the lower backward class or SC/ST for better education and financial support. The university covers more than 30 scholarship programs launched by the Gujarat government.

- Library: Gujarat University has a huge stock in the library. It has a total number of 1,700 books and 170 periodicals. The Gujarat University Reading Centre is connected with the university central library building. Around 400 students can get the reading facility at the Reading Centre at a time.
- Seminar Hall & Class Rooms: The university has an air-conditioned seminar hall that is used for conducting seminars, lectures, and other educational purposes. It has a seating capacity of 80 people at a time. There are spacious classrooms in the University. The rooms are well-equipped with the internet, LAN facility and Projector.
- Sports: The university has an excellent sports complex which is spread out on 47 acres, within the university campus. I was applying in many other colleges but due to low percentage in 12th standard I can't get a best college but this college is also good enough and I like the college. Lokmanya college faculty are good and their campus is also good enough for students to sit and study. The professors teach good enough other than colleges like aroma, asia pacific college etc. This college admission process is very easy. Everytime after getting 12th result students fill form online on Gujarat University website and on merit base they get the college's and in lokmanya students can also get private admission without any merit and on merit also students get admission

I have applied for many colleges but did not get seat in any other college other than this college.M.G.Science institute rejected my application. Just because I am from general category no college accepted my application although having 90 above percent in 12th frade.This college accepted and called for admission.I went there and just submitted my documents such as 10th-12th marksheets, Aadhar card, PEC,ABC ID,Transfer Certificate,etc.

Basically i applied for this college because it is one of the best government college in Gujarat which is also affordable for any students from economically backward classes people and you can only take admission here if u have good scores in 12th board and gujcet
Likes
- Teaching staff. All the teaching staff are recruited by GPSC so they are the master of their respective subjects.
- We've a very large ground that can host a cricket tournament, and other sports.
Dislikes
- Campus life. It is a government college so yes the quality of the students are very cheap and very bad.
- There's a absence of cleanliness. There's a concern of pure drinking water and higiene in college.
Admission:
I choose this college because in the year 2017 this college recieved the award for being the best arts college in the state. The teaching staff is very intellectual and they have more than 30+ years experience in teaching. It was the best college for Geography students.
Likes
- The teachers are very appreciative and helping us.
- The classess are very big and classes is very clean.
Dislikes
- There is no scholarship facility. Other colleges provide scholarship.
- The parking space is very small so many student facing problem.

I chose this college for very affordable fee structure. In ahemdabad most of the college does not have very big campus an parking area. In these College we got very big campus and parking space. In this college we don't get scholarship. The addmission process is very easy you want addmission in this college you apply from gujrat university official website.

What will happen if I skip my B.Com semester two exam at Gujarat University?
Don't worry about it because you can take your exams afterward. The Exam schedule at Gujarat University is as follows.
- Semester VI exam is held which is followed by semester IV exam. After that semester II exams are held, usually in the months of November and December.
- So, if you couldn't sit for your Semester II exam due to some reason, you can appear for it along with your semester IV exam.
You have to visit your respective colleges for the semester II exam form. You will be charged a fee of INR 250 for which you will be given a receipt.
