Dr. Samuel George Institute of Engineering & Technology (Dr.SGIT) was founded by Dr. A S GEORGE in 1997. The college is situated at at Markapur, Prakasam District of Andhra Pradesh. The college vision’s to create Discipline, Hard Work and Value of Time and motto is to convey quality technical education to the backward areas and to produce engineers with outstanding technical skills.

Dr.SGIT offers courses like B-Tech, MBA, and MCA in various fields. The college has an approximate of 56 acres of land, with fully developed classes and labs. The college is situated on Markapur-Hyderabad highway and which is nearly 5km from the town. I choose this college for parents. And rative suggest this who as already completed his bachelor's degree .kits (kirshna cheithanya institute of technology) i choose but my parents don't like that college because they show caste feeling

Climate is very cool and very peacefull place for me
College infrastructure is very good and very nice

Sometime climate changes very rainy in that place
Subject understanding some times facing difficulty

One must have an intermediate. government released dates and application fee details and application dates also. they provide reservations for reserved candidates. frequency times low-level time high level and exam point of view it's very very difficult some times. I will suggest improve the courses

National cadet corps is also included in the college which is beneficial for the students who want to pursue UPSC exams
Library is good...All the necessary books for 4 years is available in the library

Dislikes

Teaching is very bad ....and the ambience is also is little low for an engineering college

I applied to this college through ecet and eligibility is 12th pass over 60 percentage The ecet application can be filled out in local net centres or anywhere online The admission sector needs to verify the students first about the course the students should take

I am Pavan Kalyan my admission process is very critical first fal I am eligibility is eamset qualified.next my course is 1st btech AIML group.nextmy application form fee is 5000. Next application date is 23-9-2023 next is application form is my name, address,id,father name, mother name,etc.nextthen reservation benefits is hostel fee is low only 25000 thousands.next in exams is 4 months for 1semesters in timing is 10 am to 1 pm then process

The college has very good infrastructure with advanced laboratories equipped with the state of the art equipment etc. Every modern situation available and also well maintained. Yes, full college is clean and food is hygienic. The am pushing is CCTV camera enabled to cater to the safety requirements of a well endowed and equipped campus. A complete smoke and alcohol vehicle-free zone, the college provides an eco-friendly environment to their students with the latest initiatives.

In first year we have 2 semesters and one external lab exam, before that we need to write 2 mid exams and internals. Comes to 2 nd yr complete project will be there.
