My Life at LDRP ITR - A journey of learning and Experiences

the course curriculum is quite relevant and comprehensive , Covering both core subjects and practical applications. My reason to choose IT was its focus on programming , data structures and modern technologies , Which are important for real world careers. The curriculum prepares students well for industry and higher studies, with a good balanced between theory and practical lab work. But this could be improved by adding more hands on projects and updated topics like ai and cloud computing to match current industry trends. Exams are conducted once internally and once externally per semester. i say the exams are easy from point of view exams are not that much of challenge.

LDRP ITR provides decent internships opportunities for students , especially from IT and Computer branches. Many Students usually get interships during their 6th or 7th semester , and the college encourages both summer and winter interships lasting from 1 to 3 months. Some of the companies are Monarch Innovation , Tech Mahindra , L&T , infotech , Openxcell , Tatvasoft and many more. i dont know the stipend because this was in past.

students become eligible from around the 7th semester for an on campus placements. some of the preeminent recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra , L&T , Infotech , Tatvasof and others. Average package in recent time is around 5 - 6 lakh per annum. The college says around 80 to 90% but that a lie. In reality its like 40 - 50% in some bathes.the highest packages are around 10 to 12 LPA. my plans after degree is very clear , i want to learn about DSA in mainly Java language.

The yearly fee for IT and CE branch in 2023 was 114000. The fee increases by 1000 Rupees every year. previously due to corona virus it was increased like 2000 - 3000 Rupees. The college offers various scholarships such as MYSY and Digital Gujarat for eligible students.The College also provide FOOD BILL scholarship for eligible hostel students. Additionally , TFWS is available for high ranking students under ACPC Rank of Gujarat. The eligibility criteria is comparatively lower for EWS , SC and ST category students.

my overall campus life experience at LDRP has been quite enjoyable and balanced between studies ans social activities. The college organizes annual and technical festival such as "XENESIS"(between February and March).This event give students great exposure to creativity , teamwork(mainly 4 in each team) and innovation. The Library is well organized and stocked with a wide range of academic books as well as journals and reference material. and it also provides access to digital resources for research and study. The classroom are like trash, they do not have projectors , smart boards. even they do not have AC. The college offers facilities for cricket , football , volleyball , badminton and indoor games. however , sports activities are limited due to the smaller campus size. There are some clubs run by students but they are not important because its rarely seen by anyone.

The hostel rooms are quite decent , usually with one fan for four-sharing or two fans for five-sharing rooms , and each room has two windows for proper ventilation. The meal quality is decent , through students shouldn't expect too much - it's simplr but hygienic and filling. the hostel is vey affordable , charging around 54000 per year . which makes it a good option for students looking for budget-friendly accommodation. for those students looking for PG or Rented rooms are available around 1 Km away from the colleges each direction , But they are comparatively more expensive (around 7000 to 10000 ) and less convenient than the hostel.

i choose this college mainly because of its good faculty , decent placement records , and ragging free environment.The fees are also affordable compared to other private colleges making it a good option. I had applied for few other colleges through ACPC counseling , but due to cutoff differences and seat availability , i couldn't secure admission in those colleges. The admission process is conducted through ACPC in Gujarat. Students are selected based on their GUJCET and 12th marks.overall the admission process was smooth.

The faculty to student ratio is balanced. each class has 75 students max, and most faculties are approachable ans supportive .They are always ready to help students outside class hours. i especially like Prof. Sneha Padhiar for theirclear teaching methods and practical approaches. Overall, most faculties are well experienced. The coures structure is well - organized and relevant to current industries standards, but i personally feels like the AI and ML part can be added for new students (The college actually did this in 2025 Batch for all Field's). The exam system includes one internal exam and one final external exam with practical exam each semester. The marking system is really good compared to other colleges. The result consists of combining internal marks , attendance , external marks. The exams are easy if one studied at the time of lectures. I do not have a number for failed students but i personally thinks like 1-9 from 74 from each class.

There was no test at the time of admission , although they asked me many questions about the my experiance about computer related stuff and mathematics. i actually did not prepare for them , i actually didn't even know there was any or not.

The night life around the college is quite decent and peaceful. students often hangout in garden areas or play games together after the classes to relax. the college itself does not have gym or dedicated cafeteria , but there is a canteen that serves snacks and meals during 9:00 Am to 10:00 PM hours. the college timing are from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and hostel in-time is around 8:30 PM. There are few local cafes and food spots outside the campus where students often go in groups. The locality is safe to move around at night time , with proper lighting and security near the college area.
