- We have quite good placement stats that encourages students to stay positive and keeps them motivated among studies
- We have good peers and great competition that pushes us to keep upskilling ourselves
- DAIICT has very good fests. Our annual fest synapse has a huge amount of budget and celebrities are invited here.
Dislikes
- Our grading policy is quite strict. Very difficult to maintain good cgpa
- Professors are rigid in nature most of them are above 50+ age wise.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our curriculum gives great insights of subjects that are useful in our college placementa. Also adding to computer science subjects we have communication technology courses so it broadens students scope of career choice.
Internships Opportunities
We have on campus placements for summer internship that is to be completed after 6th semester i.e 3rd year. The tenure of summer internship is about 6-8 weeks. Companies coming for summer internship are Google Microsoft sprinklr unifyapps bny mellon etc. Highest stipend of 2lac/month (offered by sprinklr) to lowest of 50k per month (offered by unifyapps)
Placement Experience
Most of the btech students get an on campus placements offer before completion of the course tenure. Those students who don't get an on campus offers have to search job opportunities on their own by off campus means. Highest package at our college is offered by Atlassian 82LPA, whereas prominent recruiters are Google Microsoft Uber sprinklr de shaw etc. we have approximately 120+ companies visiting our campus. Btech students are nearly 75 - 85% of on campus placeed.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total 1 semester fees including hostel + tution fees - 113500 (Food is not included) Yearly - 227000/- (in rupees) We have canteen facilities so students will have to pay and eat... Avg cost of food monthly is 6000/-
Campus Life
Campus Life is quite good we have no restriction on hostel timings. Hostels are inside the campus only. There are various active students clubs including techs and non tech clubs. Also there are 8 different types of committees if students are interested to take part in them.
Hostel Facilities
Our rooms are 2 sharing in old hostel and 3 sharing in new boys hostel. Food is quite good we have variety of food options for students such as Punjabi Chinese gujarati south india and burgers etc. Registration process of hostel is done at time of admission. All btech students are mandatory to live in the hostel on campus.
Admission
I took admission through JEE exam score. I had an option to take admission in IIIT lucknow and nit nagpur. I got computer science course in both the colleges. But I chose Daiict because it has very good alumini connectio, good food and hostel facilities, no restriction on hostel premises.
Faculty
We have 8 semester including courses of computer science and communication technology. There are 3 examination 2 in semester exams and 1 end semester examination. Marking schemes varies according to profesors. Our professors decides weightage of each examination and projects labs according to his choice. There is no fixed marking scheme.
