Vishwakarma Government Engineering College (VGEC), Ahmedabad, is a public institution established in 1994. It is recognized by the AICTE and it is administered by DTE Gujarat. The college is affiliated with the Gujarat Technological University. VGEC Ranking by IIRF was 121 out of 160 colleges in the BTech category in 2024.

The students need to follow these steps to apply at VGEC-

For UG courses-

Secure a GUJCET or JEE Main rank.
Register on the ACPC portal and fill in the details.
Participate in the counselling and choose VGEC and the preferred branch in the form.
Download the allotment letter.
Report to VGEC with all the original documents.
Pay the application fee of INR 1500 for boys; for women the fee is exempted.

For PG courses-

Register via ACPC.
Counselling will be based on the GATE or PGCET rank.
Fill in the application form, go to VGEC for document verification and fee payment process.

I like collage nature look because of wherever you see greenary trees and flowers in my collage.
I like collage timetable.because of my collage time is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m..
I also like collage faculties . They are very smart and intelligence in their particular subject.

Dislikes

I don't like collage structure because of there is no painting walls .Every walls made from cement.
And also college banches are very bed as compare to every collage.
There are many fans in my collage but don't working.

Various companies recruiting from the campus, average and highest package being offered

In 4th year we will do internship in any companies. At the end of degree year ,many companies are vesite my collage and after they make campas in college. Google,Microsoft, Amazon, IBM,Rapidops,Infosys etc..Vgec highest placement is 22LPA and Average placement is 3.5LPA according to last year . It is very useful and great opportunity for achieve our goal. We have greate opportunity to take high placement .

Internship opportunity in various organization

There are many companies placed in this company like Google,Amazon, Toxic, Microsoft, TCS,IBM,Torent power,etc. Many Student start his owen business. Students prepare his project by his particular department like computer department students do his gaming or coding project ,civil department students do his construction projects like bukding, houses, restaurant, club, etc.there are many opportunities to choose any companies by companies salary and also market value etc.

Various sports activities available in the campus

At this time , many sports games like kabbadi, cricket, basketball, vollyball etc..It's game play in my collage. And also we get fresher parties in college in our payment . Some times we go for natureal activities by collage. Whose student master in which game then our collage team full support his student to go for national level. Student come at his time in collage some student attempt his lecture and some student preapare his sport team.

What are fees structure of course and scholarship option available in the college?

When you are get admission in Vishwakarma Government Engineering collage, Chandkheda, Ahmedabad. First of all you paid 1500 rupees in acpc form. After when you started study you pay 1150 rupees, it is your mid exam fees and also inculded your term fees after you pay your final sem exam is 1100 rupees, it called GTU UNIVERSITY Exam fees and Exam form fees. Now, we can talk about scholarship. Whenever i know we get mysy scholarship or digital Gujarat scholarship. In case of mysy scholarship we get 12000 or 17000 condition apply you are stay in Hostel or PG. In case of Digital gujrat scholarship you are get many scholarship but condition apply you are not in open cast.and you are feel any one scholarship in this both scholarship. After you will pay 1500 rupees for every year and also you pay 1100 rupees for every sem .It is use full for every poor and needy family student's. This is affordable collage for every student for all achievement in Life like case, value ,sportlife....etc...It is use full for all poor families student to achieve his goal .

Students view on course curriculum

I am in computer engineering field. I like gaming and all computer work in childhood time. So I take this field. I also join institute for every coding cource like java,python, JavaScript , c++ etc..I will achieve my goal about software engineer. And also i take self learning education.

Faculties, their teaching methods and examination followed in the course

We fill four exam in duration of one sem for particular subject. Two exam fill in class test and third exam is mid sem exam and forth exam is final sem exam. I have four subject in my first sem Like as MATHS, BEE, BME and IPDC. My all faculty is very good in teaches .In all faculty my maths faculty is very best, I like his teache style, It teaches with enjoy and smartless.other faculties is also good in his subject.my collage exam is very difficult as GTU UNIVERSITY Exam because of my faculty saies first you give very hard and difficult exam after you give your UNIVERSITY Exam. You feel like it is really very esay exam..

Admission Process of the college

I applied top 5 collages like DAIICT , NIRMA ,LD, SCET, VGEC In ACPC form. It is my mistek so I got admission in SCET . I staied in scet clg in surat for one month . When i feel second round of ACPC process and i get VGEC collage. All student get admission by ACPC ragistration. I want to admission in DAIICT but i my merit rank is very low so can't reach DAIICT. I am also happy to join VGEC collage. It is a second nomber government university .

Night Life

There is powerful protection of collage because of In mg collage there is many block like as A to N etc.. In every block we can see one guard in particular block. Every where we can see camara . And most important you also see dog for protection. In night time 4 guard are present in collage get for collage protection. But there are very dark in Night . Many space there is no strit lights. Really At night time in collage, highly darkness is generated

A nice story of a nice college

Admission:

LDCE the other college I want to go but my rank is not sufficient for it so I chose VGEC. And my 2nd choice is VGEC only if I don't get add in LDCE and I get add in VGEC. The admission process of my college is only through ACPC only and the cutoff is around 3900 rank this year

• I have applied in LD college, VGEC and karnavati university(for backup). In first round i got admission in karnavati university but I waited for second round and got admission in VGEC. I chose VGEC because it's 2nd best government college in allover Gujarat and allover very good than any other private or government college. •I also got rejection from LD college because of merit. At that time merit was very high so I didn't make it there. •Admission process is very simple. You can apply for admission online through ACPC website. It depends on every year's result of 12th science.

The Admission procedure was purely through acpc on basis of marks in GUJCET AND JEE. AND the reason I chose this college is that I wanted to get into data science field . I had option to go DDU in ece branch for free using tfws but I chose this over that due to my intrest.

On my first day of college i get appriciated by my senior and that i liked

Dislikes

I felt disappointed because i found that there is no sports ground for outdoor sports

Admission:

I want this college because it is well reputated and provide best education in gujrat because vgec got rank 1st in gtu ranking and my senior friend is also suggest me to get admission in this college. I also put LD ENGINEERING college , msu vadodra , DDU nadiad for electrical and power electronics . I want to get admission in ld but my rank is much high arround 22000 so i get power electronics branch at vgec after a get admission my branch co ordinator explain the importance of power electronis branch in real world and i understand that part. In this college there is many senior friend. Now i tell about my admission process first i pay 1500 rs as a token fees for admission confirmation at ACPC portal my course accept both gujcet and jee exam for admission but most of student get admission on basis of gujcet exam . After i paid the 1500 fees as a token i get admission latter from acpc portal that i submit it to college and done reporting at my department and then i started my college journey

Admission:

I applied to few government engineering colleges in Gujarat through ACPC counselling. I got option in some private colleges also, but I decided to go with VGEC because it is a government institute and has better reputation. The main reason was also fees, in private colleges fees is too high but in VGEC it is affordable and value for money.

I applied also for DDU University and also for LD Engineering College but I get admission in vishwakarma Government Engineering College.Yes I get rejection from Nirma University because I don't Have enough marks in 12th standard.
