VGEC as EMERGENT for SOFT-TECH

Faculty:

faculties have very good knowledge and experience of their respected subject and yes not only book knowledge but practical and industry knowledge which they share us everytime . that things helped us much in our subjects . faculties we liked the most was Jashwant Dave Sir (from IT Dept.) . sir was just awesome in explaining complex topics of Object Oriented Programming(OOPs) into simplest application terms so that we can relate it well. Talking about exams for every subject , we have class test (2 or 3) , 1 mid semester exam , 1 viva and practical exam and 1 last end semester examination.

Truth of college

Like my personal experience is that , mostly faculties are friendly and helpful. Four exams in per year. Two exams are internal per exam is 30 marks and two exams are external per exam is 70 marks and it is taken by university and 50 marks for viva taken by faculty it is included in university exam .

The faculty to students ratio is variable for each branch and faculties are quite approachable I like the most Jashwant Dave sir for his good communication skills I didn't like Sapna mam of EGD subject has she is very strict. 2 exam per semester (mid term and end term) ,exams are of moderate difficulty. And 95%relevent to curriculum.

Some faculties are so good as compare to other. The relation between that faculties and students are so good. They told us that you have doubt in any topic you can call me direct. I am from information technology branch in this branch one of the best proffecer jashvant dave sir i like him very much because he passionate about his work.some faculties are not so good because they can't understand our emotions they always insult anyone in class some time they cannot come for the lacture even they are free. In one sem there are 2 exams first is mid sem it is organises by college the second is final exam from gtu. In mid sem the ratio of students pass by this is 95 to 97% and for gtu will be same.

the faculty is well-qualified, they answered all our doubts and questions very kindly, If we do not understand in first attempt then they explain again and again. In class, the faculty is very helpful for students and replied their questions kindly , they give us important question and prepare for exam . Jashwant sir, is that faculty i liked because they help me to improve my soft skills like lenguages , Hackthon pdf maker, projects,etc. In my college , there are two examination one is Mid sem and other is gtu final exam.most of 10 out of all class fail in examination,

in vgec is all most 113 faculties.and one faculty is teaches around 90 students in oe exam. here feculty membetr hold M.TECH,PHD degrees in their fields. faculty have strong knowledge aboyttheir subjects. like DSA.DBMS,DF etc.they teaches through real life examples, making problem solving etc. institute encourage reasearch, innovation and enterships. and acitivities like SSIP,SIH etc. hre proffesor have many knowledge but student learn for himself. every goverment college this problem is exists. VGEC follw the GTu cources. in first year teaches very fundamental subject5s like BME,BEE,PHYSICS etc. which is useful for all students.he re mai nly two exam are taken. mid sem and gtu. viva and practical exqam are also taken.

Overall the faculty of the IT department is supportive.The student-to-faculty ratiois really good.each teacher handles hardly one or two classes so they have enough time for dout solving.Most teachers are approachable and you can go after class without any issue. The teachers who teach us core IT subjects ar ethe ones i like the most beacuse they actually pushes us for hackathins,projects and skill building.They guide us properly when we ask,and that makes a diffrence.i don't have any specific name of theacher that i don;t like but sometimes thebehaviour is vey government-style.That's part gets a littele annoying. For exams we have mid sems,finals and few class tests evry sem.Nothing is fixed as easy or hard. it mostly depends on subjects. Usually 10-15 students out of 90 fail in some subject.The course structure is similer to other GTU colleges,and it is oke in terms of relevance.Some subjects help in real lerning and some feel outdated,but that's the case in most engineering college.

Vishwakarma government engineering college the better government colleges.

the faculty to students was very bad in my branch and we have to shere the same department and faculty with IC branch but its only for IE and ICT brunch. not for all branches the IT and EC branch have very good faculties to student ratio. the exam system is very good and safe.
