Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is balanced perfectly is every aspect throughout all semester. It prepares student for real-world problems as well as for further academics persuits. Lab-work and assignment are also very well designed to understand subject deeply in practical. The exams might feel at medium-high difficult as the overall grading is relative and you can hardly get a full or nearly full score.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship offers here is better than most of other colleges of Gujarat. Many MNCs visit here, still to crack internship is not a piece of cake. Drive provide significant amount of opportunities to grab internships here.

Placement Experience

5

The Placement drive starts with 7th semester and around 100+ companies visit and make multiple offers. Eligibility is decided as per company as if about 7 cpi or no backlog or eligibility all that depends to company. The highest till now is 82lpa and the average is about 17lpa. Percentage wise about 90% of students interested in drive get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

This below fee structure was for My 2022 batch, recent fee structure may differ. My Total Fees is 1.15 lacs per semester, which will be 2.3 lacs per year. It gets structured as 86k as Tution fees, 25k as caution fees(one time only), admission fee 5k and hostel fees is 25k. Now food you have to purchase and eat in canteen and it cost around 6k per month which gets you to total about 1.5 lac per semester cost and hence 3 lac per annum. Hence a 4-year btech degree cost you around 12 lacs in total. Now for scholarship You can get MYSY as student of Gujarat which is about 60-65k yearly, other than this I don't know.

Campus Life

5

Here there are 3 main fest, Concours(sports fest), I-fest ( technical fest) and synapse (cultural fest). Apart from these there are about 15+ clubs and 7+ committee. Most of them works well and carry out events makes campus life more enjoyable and charming. By participating in all these student can improve their management as well as communication skills which are very necessary in real world.

Hostel Facilities

4

Rented accomodation includes a dual sharing room, with single bed each, study table each and cupboard each. There is no air conditioning in hostel rooms so it get worse during Summer. The overall food in cafeteria is okish and get boring through the years. There are washing machine facilities as well provided.

Admission

I chose this college over other as it have a compulsory hostel stay in campus which I like very much and challenging to be away from home. It have a strong peer group as well as well known professor to teach us. I got admission into this through ACPC, from my boards and gujcet score. You can get admission here through JEE main also.

Faculty

4

The faculty-Student relationship is really good and they are very approachable. Student can approach at respective faculty block. The exam system is like in every semester there are 2 insem + 1 endsem = 3 exams in total. Other exams such as quiz, lab-exam and project presentation can be there as per respective subject.

Night Life

5

Yeah there is a gym here. Seperate timing for boys and girls in morning as well as in evening. The campus timing is about 12 midnight at last and there is no restriction to roam in campus and hostel at any time. The cafeteria is open throughout the day and night (not fully). The campus round is very famous in our college as to just hangout with friends and colleagues.

Other Applied Colleges

Dharmsinh Desai University - [DDU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Engineering)

I was confused between this two as DDU was having lesser fees but I finally chose DA-IICT to grow as it have compulsory hostel stay which in campus and strong peer-group also.

Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda - [MSU] | Bachelor of Engineering [BE] (Computer Science and Engineering)

This was the college I had been knowing since childhood and it was pretty hard to get admission in ( very less fees also), but not prefered by me due to politics inside campus, and not much appreciable placement stats
