BIT Mesra Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students become eligible for placement after the completion of their third year. Many renowned companies visit the campus. Generally, Computer Science students receive quite a hefty package with lots of opportunities for other branch students too. There have been offering up to 44 Lakhs from Microsoft. The percentage of students getting placed is quite high.

Placement for my branch is excellent! Everyone from my department was placed every year. Last year 84% of students were placed in just one month itself. Students became eligible for placements from the 7th semester. The average placement package at my college is 10.52LPA and the median is 8.6LPA. For my branch, it is 18 LPA median 20 LPA average. Students are eligible to sit for campus placements from 7th Semester. 120+ recrutiers offer 746 placements this year. Companies like DSaw, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft all visit for campus selections. Around 650+ students get placed every year.

Students become eligible to sit on the campus from the 7th semester. Students get internships from as early as fourth sem. 120+ recruiters with 746 job offers are there in the placement season. Companies like DShaw, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, Amazon Flipkart come to select students in campus.

Placements in our college starts form 3 year( 6th semester ), in which companies starts coming with their offer. Companies have their own eligibility criteria based on merit( GPA > 8.5) and projects done or any internship done in past. Many famous companies also arrives such Microsoft , Amazon , Goldman Sachs ,Qualcom and many more. The highest package is given for SDE roles . The highest package is 45 lacs . Average package is 10 - 15 lacs. Placement is very good in CS/IT , ECE but it is low in core branches. Almost 80 - 90% students gets placed every year. I have planned for placements in the 3 year .

From end of the 5 semesters, one is eligible for campus placement. The name of the companies visited are - Atlassian ,Microsoft,Amazon,Flipkart,Adobe ,Reliance,Zs associate ,Time, Larsen and turbo,Tata motors ,Maruti suzuki ,Goldman sachchs ,Tata steel. Highest package offered is 54 lakhs by Microsoft and average package offered is 14 lakh. Almost 100% students get placed . My plan is to go for higher studies .

Campus placement in BIT Mesra for the circuital branch is surely better than most of the colleges, although companies do come for non circuital, I would suggest to go for circuital branch in BIT Mesra. The averagae package of IT branch was around 18-19 lakh.

Placements in IT sector is very good here with average package of 12 lacs/annum. Core placements were also good and many companies visit the campus. Coding culture is also very good with seniors placed earlier gives s proper guidance to junoirs and almost 85 % people get placed here in hundreds of companies. I am planning to placements also.

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placement. Many companies visit our campus like adobe, amazon, google, Microsoft, Oracle, etc. More than 1000 offers were made to 679students. The highest package was 60lakh and the average package was 9 lakh per annum More than 80 percent of student gets placed every year. My plan after getting my degree is to go for govt job

Placement for circuital branches are better as compared to core branches. average package for circuital branches is around 11.5 lac while for core branches , it is around 8.5-9 lac Students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Several companies like Tata Steel, Google, L&T , Adobe , Microsoft Goldman Sachs etc visit the campus.
