• Depends on you. You could get a job in a month or maybe more than that. Salary could start from 21k but its based on what area. If you’re in london you’re gonna receive more than 30k.

• Book it through uni or just platform such as spareroom and many more.

• 99 per cent of your graduating batch secures employment within 6 months of completing their course.
• The students can expect to earn 21,000 to 31,000 pounds upon graduation.
• Students usually find jobs after graduation through LinkedIn. The common methods are campus recruitment, internships, networking, and online job portals like indeed and LinkedIn.
• The placement experiences of my batchmates were such that most of them headed back to their countries to take over family businesses or start their own business.

• I found my accommodation using online platforms.
• The monthly rent for accommodation was 50000, and the facilities included a bed mattress, wardrobe, mirror, and shared toilet (among 3).
• The challenges I encountered while finding or securing your accommodation were the ability to connect with staff easily and finding the cheapest option.
• Based on my experience, I do have some recommendations for future students seeking accommodation: Raleigh Park is the best.
• The accommodation from the college campus is a 5-minute walk away. Most of the Indian students stayed outside campus.

• The university really helps you find a job after graduation. They have career fairs where you can meet companies that are hiring, and they also organize networking events to connect with people in your field. Plus, your course includes internships that give you a chance to work in a factory and experience the UK work culture. There’s a good chance you could get a job at the same company where you did your internship. Many students end up getting full-time offers from big companies like Unilever, Nestlé, and others after completing their internships. These opportunities are really useful when starting a career.
• I had a different experience because I graduated during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many internships and job opportunities were canceled, so it was hard for me to find a job or internship. A lot of my friends had the same struggle, though. The job market was tough at that time. But even with all the problems, the Careers and Employability Service helped a lot. They gave us advice on how to keep applying for jobs and supported us through that hard time.
• The university is really good at helping students find work. Over 91% of graduates get a job or continue their studies within six months. They make sure you’re ready for the job market. The average salary for graduates one year after finishing is about £27,000, but it can be higher or lower depending on the job.

• University accommodation services helped me to get an accommodation. I got accommodation at jubilee campus it was in suite room which means an attached bathroom. I had shared kitchen which was shared by 5 people . We had study place and game area in my hall . Accommodation was secured .
• My monthly rent was 500 pounds per month . My teaching campus was 1 hours away but commute was easy because of free bus in campus.
• Campus was very beautiful. It was near to city centre. I would recommend to pre book accommodations before coming to uni of Nottingham. Go was student accommodation inside the campus Atleast for 6 months which will help you to settle in . I had few Indian students in my accommodation. 

• 94% of the students graduating from our college secure employment within 6 months after course completion. The average salary range is around 45,000 GBP per annum but if you have good skills you can land a high paying job too.
• Students have to find job through the Job fairs in which many companies come to demonstrate and pitch their company so that the students can apply easily in their most favourable company.
• People do prefer online job portals for finding jobs. Networking is the key for secure a job. Major companies that hire from my university can be JP Morgan and Chase, McKinsey & company, Deloitte, etc

• The accommodation was really great and I booked it online, there was a dedicated website for it. I have to book a guarantor before booking the accommodation.
• The monthly rent was 540 GBP and all the bills were included. Facilities like TV, sofa, Microwave, Fridge, Dining table, Cupboard, Bed, mattress, etc were provided.
• They do have a common room for activities like Pool table, study room, etc. There were no as such challenges which I faced. I would recommend my accommodation based on my experience. 

• There are several opportunities but then again depends on connections you have made. University holds career fares and all so it is best to form connections during those times.
• It is also advisable to contact people in the companies to be able to get a reference. I took up work with special needs children because I had studied psychology. Finding jobs is a hard work and not very easy. It depends a lot on luck as well.

• I chose an off campus accommodation- near the city centre. I found it through agencies and ads posted on Open Rent or Rightmove.
• The monthly rent came up to 500-600 pounds. Including all the bills. I did not like my accommodation much because their management was extremely poor.
• I would suggest students to look for in campus accommodations- that way you can engage more and even outside with your friends.

• The best way to find jobs is by networking, or online job portals through Linkedin, Gradcraker, Indeed and Reed.
• I can share my experience, I applied for over 1000+ jobs through job portals and this number would be similar for every other graduate. But didn't have any response, so I started making connections through LinkedIn and one day I got a referral for British Gas. The interview was simple, at 1stvthere was a a data round where I was given a data set and I was asked to make a presentation and after that, I had my interview.
• The top company that hires graduates would be PWC, EY, and Amazon

• My accommodation was off-campus.
• I found it through the Facebook marketplace, I saw the ad and I reached out to the homeowner and requested a virtual viewing.
• My rent was 500£ with all bills included.
• Facilities like wifi, kitchen appliances and communal cleaners were there.
• I didn't have any challenges it was quite easy for me.
• Look at Spareroom if you want to look for off-campus accommodation.
• My house was 1.5 miles away from the uni campus, however the student accommodation was 0.5 miles.

• Since mine is a design based course, it will be difficult to get work. Especially since you will require sponsorship. So I would say around 1-2 out of every graduating class (Indian students only) get work in the first six months of graduation.
• This also varies from course to course, as some courses provide you with more opportunities in UK. Architecture in general never has any placements in any country, so we can’t take that into account, we always have to apply for jobs ourselves.

• Off campus accommodation is what I opted for, but it’s still a University accommodation. I looked into the University website which gave me various options including the price range to pick from, facilities, type of rooms available etc.
• My accommodation was 131 pounds per week with all bills included. It was around a 20 minute walk from my department, it’s closer to other departments like psychology, medicine etc.
• One thing that I was most thankful for in my accommodation is the fact that it had a good mix of students from various ethnic backgrounds. So this ensured that I got to mingle with people from various cultures and that I did not just stick to the Indian student population.
   

• Masters students have to go through the graduate scheme process; for international students, there are no opportunities to go for an internship or full time due to visa restrictions.
• Students generally apply through the company job portals. The average salary package starts for an freshers associate is 29000-35000 GBP per annum. PWC, GSK, BT, Accenture, IBM, Barracudas, HSBC, etc. are the companies in different corporate sectors to apply for.

• I have booked an off-campus accommodation; it costs me 500 GBP per month including all the bills, there is no TV, so I don't have to pay for that.
• The best thing is it is a 10-minute walk from my university campus, clearly visible form the window. There will be plenty of off campus accommodations that are cheaper than the on-campus ones. Do some research before booking yours.

It is definitely hard to find relevant Jobs in UK, by relevant I mean jobs related to the course you've done. The job market was not that great there and of course they prefer giving jobs to their people. Plus, in my time, I could only stay a month or two above my study visa, so finding a job in such a short period was tough.

The college recommended hostels were great.

• Getting a full time job is very difficult. As the current situation in UK is bad, most of the companies have stopped hiring. Very few had got jobs in UK.
• One has to apply on their own to any companies. It is completely based on the students performance and their background. There is no such thing as campus recruitment.
• There are career fairs where companies would come n tell you about different job opportunities and the job application process in their company. But there would be no direct hiring involved.

Part Time Jobs

• There were no such jobs for students on campus for Masters students.
• Maximum hours of work allowed per week is 20. Students can work outside in cafés, restaurants, supermarkets etc.
• It is very difficult to secure a part time job off campus too as there is lot of competitions. One needs to have prior experience. On campus part time jobs are not available as far of my knowledge.
• Most of the Indian students work in restaurants or supermarkets. The hourly pay is around £11-£12. One can apply through the company website or job portals. Also can directly handover the CVs to the stores.
• As there is lot of competition getting a part time work is difficult. Prior experience is required. For some jobs, they would ask them to work for 2-3 days and then decide about hiring.

• I had applied to three colleges for Masters in Management:
  1) University of Nottingham
  2) University of Birmingham
  3) University of Exeter
• I received offers from University of Nottingham and University of Exeter. University of Birmingham rejected my application because I didn’t had any prior experience in management and nor had I studied management in my Bachelors. I was from Mechanical Engineering background. So they said that for Masters in Management I would need to have any one in above two things.
• As Nottingham University was under Russell group, I opted it. The admission process was smooth. I was sent an offer letter. Once I accepted the letter, I had to pay the deposit of £2000. Once the amount was paid, the CAS letter was generated which would be necessary for the VISA application. The rest of the fee was paid in three instalments. The eligibility criteria was to have good academic background and proficiency in English. I had given IELTS and had a score of 7.
• I applied for Fall intake. Most of the top ranking University has Fall intake rather than January intake. Due to certain circumstances I applied very late which was in May second week. I received my offer letter within two weeks of applying. Then once I accepted, I had to pay deposit to get the CAS letter. Once it was done, then I got the letter within few days.
