I selected the course because it was one of the most acclaimed non-clinical healthcare programs in the country. Also, the University's reputation and global contributed to this decision.
Likes:
- It is a renowned University therefore has a weightage on the CV. null
- The university organized a lot of career fairs and events to provide career help. null
- It has a well structured infrastructure with lots of facilities. null
- Provided a lot of assistance in shaping careers. null
- The amount of ECA is also good. null
Dislikes:
- The faculty is not up to the marks. null
- Seminar tutors are highly undereducated for the amount of responsibility that they have. null
- No placement guarantee culture in the UK is very different. null
- The university accommodation charges are extremely high. null
The university is ranked quite decently in the QS world ranking. Birmingham is also the UK's 2nd biggest city which provides for a lot of employment options. Education wise it was pretty decent. But the amount of exposure I have received is good. The university has a lot of facilities that being an Indian I wasn’t familiar with. They provided end to end help.

- Every Co operative Good profs, good course structure and smart classroom are the other merits of the college. null
Dislikes:
- Very hectic schedule as the course was containing almost 12 subjects on a masters level. null
- Too many students in the same classroom although they helped freshers additionally there was unhealthy competition from experienced classmates. null
It was really good, I got to experience a mixture of cultures and also I felt very well supported to get adjusted with the overall course or country.

- The University of Birmingham has a World ranking of 78 and has secured the position in the top 10 research universities in the UK .
- The University of Birmingham offers a variety of courses along with the best research environment. null
- It has every possible facility required for a Ph.D. student to do his/her research. The faculties are extremely helpful. Most of the departments have common sitting areas to have discussion with your supervisor over cup of coffee, which I like about it. null
- As far as fitness is concerned, this university has two sports and fitness facilities and a separate playground for every sport. null
Dislikes:
- I will not say I dislike anything about the university, but the timing of the university may affect your research if you want to work in flexible timings. null
- The time of the university is 8 am to 6 pm. And if you are comfortable working at night (which researchers do), then this might be affect your research. null
My overall experience has been great till now. My research is going up to the mark, and I am enjoying my stay here along with various experience associated with social events.
University of Birmingham is among the top universities of UK and also a founder member of Brussel group. It offers exchange program between its three branches which is very amazing.
Ranked 7th best university in the UK by Times Higher Education for Computer Science. Also was rejected by Imperial College London and Edinburgh University. This was my third choice.
