Dislikes
- I had issue with student accommodation as it's very limited and students find it hard to find accommodation outside.
- My course didn't have much student diversity compared to other courses like medical and arts which I wasn't expecting.
- Also the class timings, maybe because it's a 1 year course but sometimes we had continuous classes from 8am-4pm which was exhausting.
Campus Life
- We had classes in 4 different buildings, and it's a pretty big campus as it covers all different courses you almost have two tube stations from one end to the other.
- The cafeteria is a big plus here and you'll find half of the people there always, you can completely depend on it for lunch or breakfast.

Campus Life
- My college has two campuses. My campus was Mile End Campus and it is the main campus of the University. The other campus is in the city centre and is mainly for Law students.
- My campus had a huge library which was accessible 24x7 and had a good collection. Everything was done online - issuing books and giving it back. There are many clubs including Hindu society, Cricket club, Running club - to name a few.
- As I was pursuing a Masters course, we weren't very interested in participating much in activities and those things are mostly for Bachelor's students.
Fees
- My total expenses for 1 year was - Rs. 55L
- Scholarship received from State Govt - 38.5L
- Tuition - 28.5L
- Accommodation Rent - 14,50,000
- Food (Tiffin Service) - 2,50,000 (5 times a week)
- Other expenses include - Eating out, Travelling and Liesure activities.
- My rent is a bit higher cause I chose the accommodation right opposite to my campus and lived alone in a studio. Students can choose private housing or even University housing and share their rooms with other folks which can decrease the rent significantly.

Likes
- I liked how the academics were more research-based rather than primarily focusing on theory. The approach towards teaching focuses on enhancing skills which increases job opportunities.
- The library provided a great range of study material, and the borrowing policy was great as you can borrow multiple books at a time.
- I liked the career and enterprise of my university as it helped me get an internship which was later converted into a contractual job. They assisted in building my resume and took mock interviews.
Overview
I primarily chose Queen Mary University due to its research-oriented approach towards academics. I had an eagle eye on the curriculum for my specific course and the teaching methodology they employed. It is also a Russell group university which gives it prestige. I chose the UK as it is the best for my course- English Literature, specifically London, as it is the city for arts and writing. In conclusion, it was a great experience and taught me a plethora of things besides academics.
Campus Life
For masters, since it is a one year we have a few on-campus programmes ranging from cultural events to career fairs. We have several societies to serve the interests of all students. From literature, dance, and music to sports and cooking, the university has it all.

- The campus is amazing, QM is the only university in Central London that has a huge campus.
- There are therapy sessions provided to help with students' mental health, however, it's not compulsory it depends on the student if they want to opt for it or not.
Overview
I chose this university because the fees were not that high, and it ranked in the top 50 in the world, hence I went for this university. I also reached out to past graduates, they described it as a good university of finance as well and hence I went for it.
Campus Life
The campus is huge and the campus life is really good as well with live events always going on in the university for the students. The campus life is very happening as well.

- The Library is a very peaceful place to study, so make use of the available services.
Overview
Overall, it was a good experience but since there was less awareness from the university I struggled to know services that could have made my experience more worthwhile.
Campus Life
Perfect!! They have all the amenities in the university, they also have an IT department that helps you with any sort of issue on your laptop or to connect to the university website portal, and wifi.

- The parts that I really appreciated about my university were my professors who were very efficient in teaching us the subject, it was a very inclusive campus and it encouraged lots of technological advancements on the campus.
- Professors never pressured us, but they were really kind to us and always appreciated collaborations.
- I was also fortunate enough to get the opportunity to attend Maastricht University’s IP Conference through my university ( Queen Mary University, London), the environment of my university always made me feel safe.
Dislikes
- There was nothing in particular that I disliked about the college it's just the area where the mile-end campus is situated seems a bit unsafe, but other campuses like Lincoln’s Inn which is situated in central London seem very safe and convenient, the nearest tube station for Queen Mary’s Lincoln’s Inn campus Holborn station.
Overview
I chose Queen Mary University of London because it provides one of the best course structures for Intellectual Property Rights and all the renowned professors taught in this university. I overall really liked my experience at this university, which was really great in terms of academics as LLM is more inclined towards academia and it fulfilled all the criteria of developing a deeper understanding of the subject and developing my own dissertation and also because all my professors were very helpful. I chose this particular program ( Intellectual Property Rights) because most of my interests have been carved around IPR through my internships and publications and I further want to pursue PhD in this subject thus I was inclined to choose this subject.
Campus Life
There were clubs like qLegal which specialised in law and equipped us with pro bono legal advice experience for start-ups. The university has in total 3 libraries sprawled across 3 locations, the whole campus is equipped with free WiFi and cafeterias with student discounts going now and then.
