- More events should be there
- The only think i would add is that in between of the course there are very few events and if the events they have in start and end are there in btw as well it would be great
- It was 1 min away from campus; it is called william murdoch rent is 650 a month and it's too good , you can find cheap accommodation a little further, but this was the best accommodation and was great. I had 5 flatmates, all from different countries.
- It was a very good experience and a common kitchen so we all had fun every day, it is a good university for bonding.

- Course Curriculum - The curriculum is very detailed and updated. They teach and cover every aspect of your specialization.
- Professors - All the professors are very well qualified.
- Digitialization - Everything is Digitalized here. From booking an appointment with your professor to viewing your class time table, course material and even your attendance - they have software for everything.

- University Life - The university is right in the centre yet, it lacks to give you a university life unlike big universities such as UOB but thats not a problem because most of the universities doesnt here.
- International exposure - A big NO. I had 100% Asians in my class which includes 70% Indian and Pakistanis along with 20% from South Asia like Vietnam, Taiwan and China and 10% from Nigeria and Jamaica. But, UG programmes do have lots of Britts studying.
- Limited numbers of classes - I only had 12 class for each subject in 3 months which literally disappointed me that daid - 1 class in 1 week for 1 subject. So, if i have 4 subjects in 1 semester - i will only be having 4 classes in 1 week. Then, you are free for rest of the week.
- Yes, I have used AMBER for finding accommodation for myself.
- The monthly rent for my accommodation is £640 (including bills). It is a private en-suite room with a private washroom and bedroom but with a shared kitchen.
- It has all the facilities like -WiFi, common room, study room, laundry facilities, etc..
- Did not find any challenges because i was clear from the start that I was going to find student accommodation, so I checked AMBER, which is very popular.
- I would recommend you book a stay for 1 month - 3 months because after you come here, you will find lots of cheaper options here, which will be £350 - 400 (lot more cheaper than student accommodation)
- My accommodation is 10 mins by bus, but most Indian students stay in Selly Oak, Solihull, Dudley and West Bromwich

- Infrastructure - it has a good building and facade as its very old university so it has that proper england university vibes.
- Faculty - it has good faculty
- Student union(Common Area)
Dislikes
- Teachers focus on assignments only which i think doesnt add more in practical knowledge
- Lack of coordination among students - as most of them were different part so it was hard to make communication
- No free water
- I was living in the off campus , we found it through the network only basically whatsapp groups were made before coming to uk so in that students united and suggested homes and rooms and made groups.
- My university were in birmingham so my rent was 330 pounds per month on 30 mins drive from university , which were all included - electricity bills , water , gas , council etc.
- In my case i didnt find any difficulty but i have seen some students were facing it as it was in jan overcrowded by the students so thats why.

- There are no short comings when it comes to Aston University.
There are a lot of platforms to find accommodation but make sure you check the website and the broker is verified as a lot of students fall prey to the scamsters. Check Rightmove, Amberstudent and University Living which are trusted and verified.

- Aston University’s collaborations with various industries are very strong and allow students to get job and internship opportunities.
- Students are also able to enjoy receiving professional feedback on their submission, as well as learning in the field from skilled practitioners making the academic experience more rich and practical.
- Students have sufficiently stocked libraries, among other learning facilities.
Dislikes
- Accommodations near the university or on campus might be costly and could pose a problem for foreign students. This may in turn push students either to cover a longer distance or incur a higher cost of living.
- Upon registering for the MSc Computer Science program, you noticed that elective modules such as AI, Machine Learning, Web Development, and System Design were quite few.
- I secured my accommodation with the help of a friend who was studying at Birmingham City University (BCU), which made the process smooth and hassle-free. My monthly rent was £300, and the accommodation included essential amenities such as a washing machine, gas stove, microwave, oven, refrigerator, and mattress, ensuring a comfortable living experience.
- Based on my experience, I recommend that future students start their accommodation search early, especially if they prefer staying close to campus to minimize commuting time and costs. Many Indian students choose to live in Selly Oak, a popular area with a strong community and convenient amenities. My accommodation was located about 1.5 miles from Aston University, which allowed for an easy commute.

- The course was really difficult and the assignments were an ordeal to complete, It's an accomplishment to clear all the modules in 1 single go.
Overall experience was excellent. Had a tonne of stuff to learn. I chose this University coz its Computer Science department was among the highest-ranked in the UK. And the city was amazing.

- Well known University with better fees and better course. The best part was that under a module I could convert my part time as a full time.
- Infrastructure, Library and the opportunity to convert the part time into full time. Also, there was dedicated team to review the resume and guide people in the job search.
Dislikes
- There was nothing as such to dislike but to mention I would say the food, since I struggled a lot being a vegetarian in the campus and not having much of the options.
It was good. I loved the amount of time I spent there and the experience I have got which is helping me now in the current role as well.
I chose this program because I have always had an interest in photonics and wanted to further enhance my knowledge.
I liked the course and the program in Artificial Intelligence as the course modules are better than many top-ranked colleges in the UK, and there are a lot of interactive lectures, and guest lectures from industry professionals on topics that are not covered in our teaching modules. So this covers most of the aspects of AI and also Aston University is in the city center of Birmingham, 2nd largest city in the UK, with lots of new opportunities developing around here, and some Big 4 companies and IT companies shifting to Birmingham.
