Overall experience was excellent. Had a tonne of stuff to learn. I chose this University coz its Computer Science department was among the highest-ranked in the UK. And the city was amazing.

Course Curriculum

10

Enough relevant that everyone is talking about it or everyone in the IT department hears about it every day.

Faculty

9

In my batch, it was 50:1 but for previous batches, it was 5:1. That's because there was an influx of students going to the UK for Studies starting in 2022. For dissertation, it was 4:1 to 10:1.

Campus Life

10

The library with 3 stories with lots of studying space and provisions to borrow laptops or work on different PCs. Multiple floors had provisions for silent study where you could really concentrate and study for whatever you want and till late hours(6 am to 11 pm). Aston Student Union organised several events for the students and many interactive sessions to make them comfortable around the campus. The city centre was a 10-minute walk from the campus and the student accommodation so everything was made really convenient.

Placement

8

I don't know that. However, students with past experiences had a higher chance of getting placed with packages ranging from 40000 GBP to 200000 GBP based on experiences. Top banks and even the Big 4 companies approached the university for placements.

Accommodation

Off Campus
10

Top-notch accommodation facility. The location of the university is in the centre of the city which made a lot of student accommodations really close or walking distance from the university. So much so that 80% of the international students lived within 1 mile radius of the university.

Exams

- IELTS 7, an appropriate bachelor's degree and 2 letters of recommendation. - 10th cbse - 89%; 12th cbse - 78%; IPU - Btech in EEE 68% - Requirements: Yes, I submitted 2 LORs, 1 SOP and 1 CV for getting selected. No interviews were given. SOP should show why should the university choose you.

Fees

17050 GBP
