- N = Total number of candidates who appeared in the same subject across all shifts
- R = Rank of the candidate in that shift (based on raw scores)
How to Calculate CUET Percentage?
NTA does not release CUET raw marks directly; instead, it provides the normalized marks as NTA scores. However, if you know your raw marks (before normalization), here’s how to calculate the percentage:
Percentage = (Total Marks Obtained / Total Maximum Marks) × 100
For example,
You have appeared in 4 subjects and each subject was for 250, so your total marks is (250 X 4) = 1000.
Your CUET Percentage = (850 / 1000) × 100 = 85%
How To Calculate Overall Percentile In CUET?
NTA normalises the score for CUET 2025 to ensure transparency. The “NTA Score” refers to the percentile marks mentioned on the result for each subject. To calculate the CUET UG overall percentile, you can use this formula:
The relative ranking of a candidate is determined by their percentile score. It shows the proportion of applicants who received a score that was either the same as or less than a specific score.
For example,
If your raw score is 220, the total number of candidates is 50,000 and 48,500 candidates scored less than or equal to your score, then the CUET percentile is 97%
