CUET UG 2024 May 18 Exam Concludes with Average Attendance of 83%

New Delhi: On May 18, 2024, NTA conducted the fourth day of CUET UG for History, Political Science, and Sociology. The exams took place at 603 centers. NTA has covered 87.09% of the total registered students for CUET UG. The exams will be held in more than 600 centers across about 300 cities in India and abroad. 

137,601 candidates appeared for History in 542 centers with 84% attendance, 161,360 candidates appeared for Political Science in 580 centers with 78% attendance, and 35,728 candidates appeared for Sociology in 431 centers with 84% attendance.

UGC Chief M Jagadesh Kumar stated that handling 539,110 students daily is 5.78% of the total scheduled slots. NTA ensured students got their first test center choice, especially in tribal, hilly, and northeastern regions.

The average attendance on May 18, 2024, was 83%, higher than previous days. The remaining 48 subjects will take CBT mode exams on May 21, 22, and 24, 2024. Admit cards for these exams have already been issued.

The CUET UG 2024 exam on May 18, 2024, was conducted in one shift, divided into three parts: shift 1A from 1:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m., shift 1B from 3:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m., and shift 1C from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.
